Abstract
The development of technology has brought a new innovation in the language learning process.
Inspired by the progress in CALL, this study attempted to study students’ perception on using
digital and paper-based materials. This study used a questionnaire and reading tests. The finding
shows students that the students had positive perceptions to learn English using Digital materials
in order to develop their reading competence in English.
