ABSTRAK
Gangguan pendengaran akibat bising adalah tuli akibat terpapar bising yang cukup keras dalam jangka waktu yang cukup lama dan biasanya diakibatkan oleh bising lingkungan kerja. Kebisingan kerja merupakan faktor risiko penting pada gangguan pendengaran pada pekerja, mulai dari 7% sampai 21% (rata-rata 16%) dari orang dewasa kehilangan pendengaran di seluruh dunia.
Penelitian ini dirancang bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran gangguan pendengaran pada pekerja pandai besi yang terpajan bising.
Desain penelitian berupa studi cross sectional yang bersifat deskriptif. Responden yang telah menandatangani surat persetujuan setelah penjelasan kemudian diperiksa dengan menggunakan audiometri, kemudian data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan program komputerisasi.
Berdasarkan hasil pemeriksaan audiometri didapati sebanyak 38 orang (24.0%) yang mengalami gangguan pendengaran dan normal sebanyak 12 orang (24.0%).

ABSTRACT
Noise induced hearing loss is the result of exposure to the noise deafness hard enough in quite a long time and is usually caused by a noisy work environment. The working noise is a key risk factor for hearing loss in workers, ranging from 7% to 21% (average 16%) of adult hearing loss worldwide
This study was designed to know an overview of hearing loss in blacksmith workers who exposed to noise.
The study design is descriptive cross sectional studies. Respondents who have signed the letter of consent are examined by using a audiometry . The data obtained were analyzed by using a computerized program.
Based on the results of the audiometry examination are found as many as 38 people (24.0%) who have experienced hearing loss and normal as many as 12 people (24.0%).
