TENTANG DAHANA

ABOUT DAHANA

PT DAHANA (Persero) atau “DAHANA” adalah badan usaha milik negara terdepan yang melayani kebutuhan negara dan komersial dalam bidang bahan berenergi tinggi baik di dalam negeri maupun luar negeri khususnya di ASEAN.

DAHANA menyediakan jasa peledakan komersial terpadu, jasa peledakan untuk bidang pertahanan, dan jasa pendukung lainnya.

Sejarah DAHANA sebagai pionir di industri ini berawal dari proyek yang dipelopori oleh Angkatan Udara Republik Indonesia (AURI) pada tahun 1966 yang dikenal dengan Proyek Menang, berlokasi di Tasikmalaya, Jawa Barat.

Kemudian, pada tahun 1973 secara resmi berubah menjadi Perusahaan Umum DAHANA berdasarkan Peraturan Pemerintah No. 36/1973. Terakhir, ditetapkan sebagai Perusahaan Perseroan pada tahun 1991.

Sejak berdiri sampai tahun 2012, DAHANA telah teruji dan terbukti mampu menyediakan jasa peledakan menyeluruh untuk berbagai kebutuhan dan kondisi secara memuaskan, termasuk bench blasting, trench blasting dan underwater blasting yang cukup kompleks. DAHANA mampu menangani proses peledakan secara menyeluruh mulai dari perancangan, kalkulasi, persiapan drill hole, konfigurasi peledakan, penyediaan bahan peledak, pelaksanaan peledakan, hingga pengamanan operasional.

Inovasi menjadi kata inti DAHANA untuk terus berkembang baik dari segi inovasi produk maupun proses manajemen yang menjadi pendukung. DAHANA telah berhasil mendirikan Pabrik DANFO,

DAHANA provides integrated commercial blasting, blasting services for defence, and other support services.

DAHANA history as a pioneer in this industry is originated from a project that was spearheaded by the Indonesian Air Force (AURI) in 1966 that was known as Winning Project, located in Tasikmalaya, West Java.

Then, in 1973 it was officially changed into Public Company DAHANA based on Government Regulation no. 36/1973. Finally, it was set up as a Limited Liability Company in 1991.

Since its establishment until this 2012, DAHANA has been tested and proven able to provide a thorough blasting services for various needs and conditions satisfactionally, including bench blasting, trench blasting and underwater blasting that is quite complex. DAHANA is able to handle the whole process of blasting from design, calculations, preparation of drill hole, blasting configuration, providing explosives, blasting implementation, to operational security.

Innovation is the main word of DAHANA to continue growing both well in terms of product innovation and management process as supports. DAHANA has been successful in establishing the DANFO Factory, Bulk Emulsion Factory, On-site Plant, DAHANA adalah Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN) di bidang industri strategis yang menawarkan layanan bahan peledak terpadu untuk sektor Migas, Pertambangan Umum, Kuari dan Konstruksi dan bahan peledak pertahanan.

Recent innovations in 2012, DAHANA completed construction of the largest development and manufacturing facilities in ASEAN that is called as Energetic Material Center (EMC) that is located in Subang, West Java.

Bahan peledak komersial yang diproduksi oleh DAHANA memiliki spesifikasi yang telah disesuaikan untuk masing-masing segmen pasar pengguna sehingga kualitas dan kemudahan operasinya dapat diandalkan.

Selain di produksi di fasilitas produksi kami di Subang dan Tasikmalaya, DAHANA juga menyediakan fasilitas produksi langsung di daerah operasional klien kami dengan menggunakan teknologi On-Site Plant (OSP). Commercial explosives manufactured by DAHANA have specifications that have been customized for each market segment of the user so that the operation quality and easiness can be reliable.

DAHANA products have prime quality and are locally produced so it gives advantages in shortening the time of procurement with the more competitive prices.

In addition to the production at our manufacturing facility in Subang and Tasikmalaya, DAHANA also provides production facilities directly in the operational area of our clients by using the On-Site Plant (OSP) technology. These services increase the efficiency of production and transportation cost savings so that the clients get the fast and comprehensive service. Clients also minimize the order excess to improve the financial efficiency.

Tahun 2012 pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia sangat baik, bahkan menjadi salah satu yang terbaik di dunia diangka 5,3%. Demikian juga 2013 mendatang, pertumbuhan ekonomi ini bahkan diprediksi berlanjut dengan kecenderungan semakin baik yakni di kisaran 5,6-6%. Hal ini sungguh menjadi momentum yang menguntungkan yang harus bisa ditangkap menjadi peluang untuk bertumbuh bagi perusahaan.

Dengan beroperasinya Energetic Material Center di Subang, Jawa Barat menjadi pencapaian positif yang penting bagi perusahaan untuk menangkap peluang pasar tersebut. Para ekonom mengatakan pasar Indonesia saat ini bagaikan “gadis cantik” yang siap dipinang banyak investor baik dalam maupun luar negeri. Oleh karena itu kami berharap, dengan dukungan EMC, DAHANA bisa semakin menjadi tuan rumah di negeri sendiri dengan menguasai pasar energetic industry secara dominan.

Indonesia’s economic growth in 2012 is very good; even it is one of the best in the world with the growth of 5.3%. Similarly, in 2013, economic growth is going to be predicted to continue with the trend that is even better in the range of 5.6 to 6%. It is really a favorable momentum that must be captured into an opportunity to grow for the company.

The operation of Energetic Materials Centre in Subang, West Java became the important positive achievement for the company to capture such market opportunities. Economists said that the Indonesian market today likes a “pretty girl” that is ready to groom by many investors both within and outside the country. Therefore we hope, with the support of EMC, DAHANA could become the host country itself by dominating the energetic market industry dominantly.

untuk mengembangkan sumber daya manusia yang dimiliki melalui program pelatihan dan pengembangan yang komprehensif. Program pelatihan tersebut ditujukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan teknis, marketing dan operasional karyawan. Program pelatihan juga mencakup bidang-bidang lainnya seperti tata kelola perusahaan dan manajemen resiko.

Penyiapan manusia cerdas dan terampil sangat perlu seiring dengan rencana penggunaan dan penciptaan teknologi baru menghasilkan material energetik yang tepat manfaat dan kompetitif dalam harga dan mutu. Ini merupakan kebijakan yang sejajar dengan kondisi saat ini dimana DAHANA telah memiliki penguasaan teknologi di bidang bahan peledak komersial dan militer serta memiliki fasilitas produksi yang terintegrasi: Pabrik Ammonium Nitrate dan EGAN, Pabrik detonator, pyrotechnics, propelan munisi, propelan roket, mixing high explosive, pabrik Danfo, Bulk Emulsion, dan Cartridged Emulsion, fasilitas pergudangan bahan peledak, dan area uji coba bahan peledak. Kesemua teknologi dan fasilitas tersebut membutuhkan orang-orang yang mumpuni di bidangnya masing-masing sehingga dapat memuaskan pelanggan dalam berbagai aspek termasuk keamanan (safety) yang menjadi prioritas.

Dengan kinerja Direksi DAHANA yang cukup baik pada tahun 2012 ini, Dewan Komisaris menyampaikan penghargaan dan apresiasi kepada Direksi dan seluruh karyawan untuk kerja keras dan dedikasinya. Pada kesempatan ini kami juga menyampaikan penghargaan kepada seluruh pihak yang berkepentingan, kreditur, supplier serta mitra kerja lainnya atas kerjasama yang baik selama ini. The preparation of intelligent and skilled people is essential along with the plan of the use and the creation of new technologies that produce the energetic materials that are benefits precisely and competitive in price and quality. This is a policy that corresponds to the current condition where DAHANA has had and conduct the technology mastering in the field of commercial and military explosives and has integrated production facilities: Ammonium Nitrate and EGAN Factories, Detonators factory, pyrotechnics, ammunition propellant, rocket propellant, high explosive mixing, Danfo factory, Bulk Emulsion and Cartridged Emulsion, explosives warehousing facilities, and explosives testing area. All the technologies and the facilities need qualified people in their respective fields so that it can satisfy the customers in various aspects including security (safety) that becomes a priority.

With a pretty good Dahana Directors performance in this 2012, the Board of Commissioners expressed gratitude and appreciation to the Board and all employees for their hard work and dedication. yang terdiri dari: redefinisi usaha menjadi service provider, perluasan pasar untuk produk-produk jasa drilling & blasting, aliansi strategis dengan pemasok dan atau pelanggan, serta diversifikasi usaha dalam lingkup kompetensi inti.

Setelah tahapan “turn-around” tersebut, sejak tahun 2006 perusahaan memasuki tahap pertumbuhan yang cukup menggembirakan. Seiring dengan amanat Pemerintah untuk menguatkan industri Pertahanan dan Keamanan Nasional, DAHANA mengambil peran dengan menambah fokus bisnis pada penyediaan kebutuhan bahan peledak militer. Sehingga, saat ini DAHANA mulai melayani kepentingan negara dengan lebih baik (serving the nation better).

Pencapaian 2012

Alhamdulillah, DAHANA mencatat peningkatan pendapatan sebesar 27,48% pada tahun 2012, walaupun masih banyak proyek-proyek yang belum tuntas. Transformasi DAHANA kami yakini akan menjadi sumber pertumbuhan di masa yang akan datang meskipun dalam jangka pendek menyebabkan tertekannya laba usaha.

Sektor pertambangan terutama batubara melambat pertumbuhannya. Demikian juga kegiatan eksplorasi di sektor migas. Menurunnya aktivitas sektor batubara domestik karena China dan India menurunkan permintaannya. Sedangkan menurunnya kegiatan migas akibat tidak ada insentif untuk sektor migas sehingga menyebabkan berkurangnya kegiatan eksplorasi dan hanya mengandalkan pada eksploitasi pada sumur yang ada.

Kemajuan DAHANA dalam menjalani proses transformasinya selama ini tentunya tidak terlepas dari dukungan dan kerja keras seluruh karyawan, dan ini tentunya menjadi modal yang sangat berarti bagi perusahaan yang kita cintai ini untuk semakin dapat bersaing menghadapi perkembangan era global.

Menuju “World Class”

Tahun 2012 menjadi tahun yang menantang bagi DAHANA, melanjutkan tahun 2011 yang juga cukup gemilang. Titian langkah yang selama ini yang

Alhamdulillah, DAHANA recorded an increase in revenue of 27.48% in 2012, even though there are still many projects that are unfinished. We believe that the DAHANA transformation will be a source of growth in the future even though in the short term, it causes the depressed operating income.

Especially in coal mining sector, its growth is slowed. Similarly, the exploration activities in the natural oil and gas sector are also slowed. The decreasing in domestic coal sector activity is caused by the lower demand in China and India. While the decreasing in natural oil and gas activities is caused by there is no incentive for the natural oil and gas sector so it leads to the reduced exploration activities and only rely on the exploitation of the existing wells.

DAHANA progress in undergoing the process of transformation during this time, can not be released from the support and hard work of all employees, and it is certainly a very significant capital for companies that we love to be able to compete to face of the developed global era.

Terselesaikanya fasilitas pabrik yang canggih dan lengkap di Subang Jawa Barat yang kami namakan Energetic Material Center (EMC) menjadi salah satu tonggak pencapaian yang penting untuk masa depan DAHANA. Di dalam area tersebut, telah lengkap tersedia fasilitas produksi untuk bahan peledak militer dan komersial, pergudangan bahan peledak, balai diklat penggunaan bahan peledak dan are uji coba bahan peledak.

Peluang dari segmen handak militer juga disikapi perusahaan dengan tegas dan jelas yakni dengan berkomitmen melayani kebutuhan handak militer dalam negeri.

Komitmen nyata ini terlihat dari dibangun dan dikembangkannya pabrik dan area khusus untuk penelitian dan produksi bahan peledak militer serta persiapan pabrik propelan untuk roket dan munisi.

Diversifikasi usaha di bidang handak militer ini sesuai dengan kompetensi inti DAHANA di bidang bahan berenergi tinggi (tidak hanya bahan peledak) sehingga menciptakan sinergi yang luar biasa di dalam perusahaan.

The finished factor y advanced facilities and complete in Subang, West Java which we call as Energetic Material Center (EMC) has become one important milestone for the future Dahana. In such area, it has a complete production facility that is available for the military and commercial explosives, warehousing of explosives, training centers of the use of explosives and explosives testing area.

Chances of military explosives segment are also addressed by the company firmly and clearly that is committed to ser ving the needs of militar y explosives in the country.

This real commitment is seen from the construction and development of the factory and a special area for research and production of military explosives and preparation of propellant factory for rocket propellant and munitions.

Business Diversification in this military field is in accordance with the main competence of Dahana in the field of high energy materials (not just explosives) so it creates tremendous synergy in the company.

KONDISI EKSTERNAL

EXTERNAL CONDITIONS

Sebagai bagian dari entitas ekonomi nasional, regional, dan global, kinerja DAHANA tidak dapat lepas dari pengaruh eksternal—di luar sistem organisasi perusahaan. Oleh karena itu, DAHANA selalu melakukan antisipasi akan munculnya dampak eksternal baik yang negatif maupun yang positif terhadap kinerja perusahaan.

Politik Hukum

Tahun 2012 kondisi keamanan dan politik nasional cukup stabil sehingga membawa atmosfir yang menunjang munculnya kepercayaan diri pada pelaku bisnis di Indonesia. Oleh karena itu secara nasional, situasi dan kondisi cukup mendukung kinerja bisnis DAHANA.

Namun demikian dinamika politik di tingkat daerah sebagai konsekuensi logis dari penerapan kebijakan otonami daerah, cukup mempengaruhi bisnis DAHANA yang melingkupi beberapa daerah kabupaten dan propinsi di Indonesia. Munculnya peraturan-peraturan daerah yang bervariasi menyebabkan rantai birokrasi kian panjang, sehingga pada akhirnya menghambat arus investasi dan bisnis di daerah. Politik Pertahanan dan Keamanan Pemerintah Indonesia yang semakin berusaha mengurangi ketergantungan terhadap supply impor produk pertahanan dan keamanan pada tahun 2012 sampai saat ini cukup menguntungkan perusahaan.

Untuk menangkap peluang ini, DAHANA telah selesai membangun area khusus untuk pabrik bahan peledak militer dan juga propelan munisi dan roket.

Ekonomi

Tahun 2012, kondisi perekonomian Indonesia sangat baik, bahkan salah satu yang terbaik di dunia. Hal ini terlihat dari pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional yang berkisar 5,3 %. Nilai tukar rupiah berkisar di angka Rp. 9.500, sedangkan inflasi berkisar di angka 2 %. Sedangkan BI rate di angka 5,75% yang merupakan suku bunga BI terendah sepanjang masa.

Secara industri, keadaan cukup kondusif meskipun harga produk komoditas sedikit menurun terutama batubara dan minyak sawit. Minyak dan gas bumi turun dibandingkan tahun 2011 akibat produksi yang melimpah dan demand yang tidak sebesar tahun sebelumnya. Meskipun demikian hal itu tidak mendorong perusahaan minyak untuk mengerem upaya meningkatkan produksinya, baik dengan cara mengintensifkan perolehan dari sumur minyak lama maupun melakukan eksplorasi baru.

In industry, the condition is conducive although the commodity product prices declined slightly primarily on coal and palm oil. Oil and natural gas are decreased compared to 2011 due to the abundant production and demand is not as big as the previous years. However it does not encourage the oil companies to halt efforts to increase production, either by intensifying the acquisition of old oil wells or conducting new exploration.

Oleh karena itu, kondisi industri ini secara umum berkorelasi kuat dengan kinerja perusahaan. Dengan tren pertumbuhan yang terus akan melaju di industri komoditas berbasis tambang maka dipastikan kinerja perusahaan DAHANA juga tidak akan mengalami penurunan sepanjang unsur-unsur lain tetap (ceteris paribus).

Sosial Kultural

Dalam aspek sosial, bencana alam masih menjadi momok yang menakutkan bagi masyarakat. Tingkat kesehatan masyarakat masih rendah. Krisis global yang melanda mengakibatkan banyak orang yang kehilangan pekerjaan karena di-PHK. Banyak industri UKM gulung tikar. T ingkat kemiskinan masih belum menurun secara signifikan. Tingkat pengangguran dan tindakan kriminalitas pun meningkat.

Surat Keputusan Bersama 4 Menteri mengenai UMR memunculkan berbagai gejolak di masyarakat, terutama kaum pekerja. Demonstrasi-demonstrasi ramai dilakukan karena adanya ketidakpuasan a t a u p u n a s p i r a s i y a n g t i d a k d i t a n g g a p i . Pembangunan infrastruktur dan sarana umum oleh pemerintah terus digalakkan meskipun hasilnya masih dinilai kurang. Masyarakat semakin menuntut dan pintar dalam memilih dan semakin peduli terhadap dampak dari pemanasan global.

Faktor keselamatan (safety) dalam segala hal bahkan sempat menjadi pertimbangan utama dalam setiap kegiatan.

Teknologi

Globalisasi, telah membuat dunia semakin sempit dan tanpa batas. Informasi saat ini seakan mengalir dengan deras dari seluruh dunia. Dengan adanya fasilitas internet, informasi di tempat lain dapat diketahui hanya dalam hitungan menit bahkan saat ini informasi dapat berjalan dengan real time. Hal ini tentu menguntungkan bagi perusahaan yang menjalankan operasinya tersebar di remote area, karena arus informasi dapat berjalan dengan lancar. Pengambilan keputusan dapat dilakukan dengan tepat dan berdasarkan pada data yang lebih akurat.

Coal industrial commodity and non coal, oil and natural gas is the industry that becomes the market target for DAHANA. Therefore, the condition of the industry is generally strongly correlated with the company performance. With the growth that will continue in the commodities industry based on mine, surely the DAHANA company performance certainly will not also decrease as if the other elements fixed (ceteris paribus).

Social Cultural

In the social aspect, natural disasters remains a frightening specter for the people. Public health level is still low. The evoking global crisis causes many people lost their jobs for the termination. Many UKM industries are out business. The levels of poverty have been declining significantly. The level of unemployment and the crime action are increased.

Joint Decree of 4 Ministries on the minimum wage led to upheavals in society, especially the workers. Crowded demonstrations are conducted because of the dissatisfaction or aspirations that are not addressed. The development of infrastructure and public facilities by the government continue to be encouraged even though the result is still considered less. The public is increasingly demanding and smart in choosing and increasingly concerned about the impact of global warming.

Factor of safety (safety) in all respects even had time to be a primary consideration in all activities.

Technology

Globalization has made the world getting narrower and without limits. The current information looks flowing profusely from around the world. With the internet facility, the information in other places can be known only in minutes even today the information can be run in real time. It is certainly beneficial for the company that runs its operations spread in remote areas, because the information flow can run smoothly. Decision-making can be done properly and based on more accurate data.

Dengan mengusung semangat kemandirian, DAHANA mendirikan Pabrik Electric Detonator yang PERTAMA di Indonesia bekerja sama dengan PT Pindad (Persero). Pabrik dengan kapasitas

DAHANA membangun Pabrik Cartridge Emulsion di Tasikmalaya pada 1991, yang dilanjutkan dengan Pabrik Shaped Charges empat tahun kemudian (1995). Beberapa tahun kemudian DAHANA melanjutkan pengembangan dengan pembangunan pabrik DANFO masih di Tasikmalaya.

Sesuai dengan perkembangan situasi usaha dan tingkat persaingan yang semakin terbuka pasca reformasi 1998, maka dalam rangka memberikan layanan yang lebih baik dan lengkap kepada pelanggannya, DAHANA melakukan redefinisi usaha dan mengembangkan usaha termasuk memperkuat produksinya dengan berbagai pembangunan pabrik yang bersifat strategis.

Before closing the explosive factories based on NG, DAHANA build Cartridge Emulsion Factory in Tasikmalaya in 1991, followed by Shaped Charges Factory four years later (1995). Several years later DAHANA proceed with the development of the DANFO factory still in Tasikmalaya.

In accordance with the development of the business situation and the level of competition that is open after the 1998 reformation, in order to provide better and complete ser vice to its customers, DAHANA do the business redefinition and business development, including strengthening its production with the development of various strategic factories.
