Decrease of Seawater
Quality
Minimizing degree of turbidity due to reclamation process by :
Installing waterproof embankment (temporary silt screen) surrounding the area that would be reclamed.
Doing the reclamation process periodically to prevent mudwave.
Providing vertical drainage to accelerate the settlement and the effluent of vertical drain shall be collected in sedimentation pool for minimizing TSS before flowing to the sea.
From Phase I to Phase IV
Minimizing degree of turbidity due to port dredging by :
Utilizing high capacity dredger to shorten dredging time.
Localizing the impacts by means of turbidity spread preventer, such as
environmental bucket or sediment resistant screen surrounding the dredging area.
Disposing the dredge material by using it as reclamation material in the next phase.
From Phase I to Phase IV
Ensuring that the quality of wastewater effluent that disposed to the sea always comply with Indonesian Law by :
Constructing Integrated Wastewater Traetment Plant including the distribution piping so that all wastewater that is produced in TTL area are treated before it disposed to the sea.
Phase II
Monitoring the quality of wastewater effluent from TTL area periodically (at least

Decrease of
Ambient Air
Quality
Minimizing the decrease of ambient air quality caused by the activity of Port equipment by:
Using equipment with electricity energy source so that it would not produce/ release carbon emission to the ambient air ( Ship To Shore Crane and Automated Stacking Crane).
Using equipment with Euro 4 standard fuel that was known to produce low emission (Straddle Carrier and Container Tractor Trailer)
From Phase I to Phase
IV
Using Grab Ship Unloader Crane so that the dust from dry bulk
loading and unloding activity can be minimize. From Phase II to Phase IV Minimizing the decrease of ambient air quality caused by the
traffic of truck and vessel in the Port by:
Using gas fuel for truck and other vehicle to support the operations in the Terminal
From Phase I to Phase
IV
Installing Cold Ironing System to provide electricity for Vessel when
berthing in TTL so that no emission from Vessel. Phase II
Ensuring that the ambient air quality is always comply with Indonesian Law :
Monitoring the quality of ambient air in TTL and the area surrounding TTL periodically (at least every 3 month).

Disturbance to
Marine Biota
Preventing decrease of marine biota caused by reclamation process :
Carried out the mangrove conservation program in Lamong Bay to maintain the habitat of marine biota.
From Phase I to Phase IV
Doing inventory of Marine Biota at Lamong Bay periodically (at least every 3 years) so that the conservation program results can be documented.
From Phase II to Phase IV
Preventing decrease of marine biota caused by Vessel activity :
Making regulations to all the Vessels that berth at TTL that they are not allowed to discharge any wastewater or sewage to the sea in TTL area.
Making regulations that the Vessels are not allowed to discharge ballast water in TTL area unless they had Ballast Water Management Document.
Phase I
Contructing Reception Facilities that will provide service to accept waste material from Vessel
(wastewater, sewage, solid waste, and/ or hazardous waste) so that the waste material would not
contaminate the sea and disturbing marine biota.

Waste
Managing the Increase of Solid Waste caused by Terminal Operations :
Applying 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) method to manage solid waste.
Phase I
Constructing Reception Facilities that include facilities to manage solid waste, such as composter and incenerator.
Phase II
Managing the Increase of Hazardous Waste caused by Terminal Operations :
Constructing Reception Facilities that include hazardous waste warehouse, where the hazardous waste would be kept temporarily and then would be transported to the outhorized beneficiary.

Consumption of
Natural Resources to
Minimizing the consumption of natural resources to generate energy by :
Using renewable energy source, such as solar energy as energy source of street lamp in TTL area.
From Phase I to Phase IV
Constructing and Operating Gas Engine Power Plant to supply electricity needed in Terminal operations gradually with ultimate capacity 200 MW.

Decrease of Coast
Fisherman Income
Minimizing the losses of fishermen income due to Terminal operations by :
Mapping socio-economic and cultural conditions of the community to establish Community Action Plan periodically (at least every 5 years).
From Phase I to Phase IV
Collaborating with Government to empower the coast fisherman community changing profession by building soft skills, and / or training on modern technology in deep sea fish catching (as part of Corporate Social Responsibility Program).
From Phase I to Phase IV
Prioritizing local people, especially fisherman children when hiring labor for
Terminal operations or other job in TTL area. From Phase I to Phase IV
Funding Community Development Program in accordance to local potention, such as fish processing, snack from mangrove product, etc.
