Penelitian ini membahas mengenai kegiatan penyiaran radio komunitas dan pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi pendengar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kegiatan penyiaran radio komunitas, yaitu Swara Radio dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi pendengar dengan empat pendekatan kebutuhan informasi menurut Guha (kebutuhan informasi mutakhir, kebutuhan informasi rutin, kebutuhan informasi mendalam, dan kebutuhan informasi sekilas) pendengar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang menggunakan metode survei. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah accidental sampling. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah pendengar dari mahasiswa IKOPIN. Dalam penelitian ini data diperoleh melalui penyebaran angket, melakukan observasi dan wawancara, serta melakukan studi pustaka. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan penyiaran Swara Radio sudah dapat memenuhi kebutuhan informasi pendengar (kebutuhan informasi mutakhir, kebutuhan informasi rutin, kebutuhan informasi mendalam, dan kebutuhan informasi sekilas).

This research examine the broadcasting activities on community radio and fulfillment the information needs of listeners. This research aims to determine the broadcasting activities of community radio, namely Swara Radio in fulfillment information needs with four approaches information needs of the listeners according to Guha (current need approach, everyday need approach, exhaustic need approach, and catching-up need approach). This research is a quantitative survey method. The sampling technique used in this research is accidental sampling. Samples from this research are the listeners of Institut Koperasi Indonesia (IKOPIN) students. In this research, the data obtained through questionnaires, observation and interviews, as well as study literature. Based on the results of this research is concluded that broadcasting activities on Swara Radio been able to fulfill information needs of listeners (current need approach, everyday need approach, exhaustic need approach, and catching-up need approach).
