ABSTRACT
Regulatory changes in contract labor system can bring both positive and negative implications
for the elements of industrial relations actors. The impact is felt by the workers tend to the
negative implications such as reduced labor welfare. The purpose of this research is to
understand: 1) the contract labor system in PT. Tirtamas Lestari Temanggung, 2) the reasons for
the use of contract labor system, and 3) the impact of the contract labor system for the welfare of
workers. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach and will be given
information for solving problems encountered in the form of diagrams, tables, graphs, or
narratives.
