danCukai, Pelaksanaanhumas Bea danCukai, danEvaluasi yang dilakukanolehhumas Bea danCukaimenanganiPemberitaanNegatif.
Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisaan laporan tugas akhir ini adalah metode Deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara,observasi kelapangan dan studipustaka. Objek pengamatan ini adalah Humas Bea dan Cukai( Kantor ) DirektoratJendralHumas Bea danCukai.
Hasil dari pengamatan ini menunjukan proses penangana pemberitaan negative ini berupa mengetahui masalah yang sedang berkembang dengan cara mengumpulkan berita yang terkait dengan Bea dan Cukai,menganalisis, mengklipingkan pemberitaan, membuat perencanaan berupapres release lalu melakukan konferensi pers melalui media massa, evaluasi dengan rapat devisi apa yang telah dilakukan berhasil apa tidaknya, bila tidak memanggil konsultan PR.

Padjadjaran University.
The purpose of this study is to know the collection of data or facts, the planning of public
relationof customs duty, and the evaluation performed by public relation of customs duty in
controlling negative report.
The method used in this study is descriptive method withdata collected by interview, field
observation and library research. The object is public relation of customs duty (the office) of
DirektoratJendralHumas Bea danCukai.
The result of this study shows that the process of controlling negative report are done by
knowing the problems through collecting information concerning customs duty, analyzing,
clipping information, making planning through press release and press conference, making
evaluation through division meeting whether everything goes properly.
The conclusion asserted in this study is that the process of controlling negative report has
asignificant role for public relation of customs duty especially when confronting press report.
