Expressive acts are those kinds of speech acts that state what the speaker feels. Every people have different feeling in every day, and they show their feeling from the utterance that their stated. Here, expressive acts have a function to express psychological states of the speaker. This research focused on the Expressive Act Used by The Main Characters in The Movie “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of The Dawn Treader” by C.S Lewis.
The statement of the research problems are: (1) What are type of expressive act that used by the main characters in the movie “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of The Dawn Treader” by: C.S Lewis? (2) How are the language mode of expressive act used in the utterances that used by the main characters in the movie “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of The Dawn Treader” by: C.S Lewis?
In this research, the researcher used content analysis as qualitative approach. The researcher observes the utterance that contains expressive acts used by the main characters in the movie “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of The Dawn Treader” by: C.S Lewis. The data of this research is the conversational fragments containing of expressive acts and the data source is the movie scripts of the main characters in the movie “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of The Dawn Treader” by: C.S Lewis. The data collecting method used is documentation. From analyzed the utterance that used by the main characters in the movie “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of The Dawn Treader” by: C.S Lewis, the researcher present the types of expressive act. There are eight types of expressive act are like, dislike, refusing, welcoming, thanking, praising, blaming, and apologizing. The expression of like is interpreting a feeling speaker when he or she enjoy with the something or someone from the utterance which is utter. The expression of dislike is interpret what a speaker feel dislike to someone or something from the utterance which is utter. The expression of refusing is express that the speaker not accepts something. The expression of welcoming is expressions that making someone feel welcome or can show if the speaker is friendly. The expression of thanking is expressions to someone are grateful for something that they have done. The expression of praising is expressions admiration about the achievements of a person or thing. The expression of

blaming express someone who did something wrong or it can said if someone regret with their does. The expression of apologizing is expression someone that sorry for having done something that caused the problem. The language mode of the expressive act type like showed three utterance applied positive verbal sentence, in type dislike showed one utterance applied positive verbal sentence. There are five utterances applied negative verbal sentence in expressive act type refusing. There are two utterance applied positive verbal sentence in expressive act type welcoming. In type thanking also showed two utterance applied positive verbal sentence. There are five utterance applied positive verbal sentence in expressive act type praising. There are two utterance applied two positive verbal sentence in expressive act type blaming and the last type apologizing showed one utterance applied one positive verbal sentence.

Tindak tutur ekspresif adalah salah satu macam dari tindak tutur yang menyatakan apa yang pembicara rasakan. Setiap orang mempunyai perasaan yang berbeda disetiap hari, and mereka menunjukkan perasaannya dari ujaran yang mereka nyatakan. Disini, tindak tutur ekspresif mempunyai fungsi untuk mengekspresikan kondisi psikologis pembicara. Penelitian ini fokus pada tindak tutur ekspresif yang digunakan oleh pemain utama pada film “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of The Dawn Treader” by C.S Lewis.
Rumusan dari masalah penelitian ini adalah: (1) Apa tipe dari tindak tutur ekspresif yang digunakan oleh pemain utama difilm “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of The Dwan Treader” by: C.S Lewis? (2) Apa fungsi dari tindak tutur ekspresif yang digunakan oleh pemain utama difilm “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of The Dwan Treader” by: C.S Lewis?.
Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan analisis isi dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Peneliti meneliti ujaran yang mengandung tindak tutur ekspresif yang digunakan oleh pemain utama difilm “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of The Dwan Treader” by: C.S Lewis. Data dari penelitian ini adalah penggalan percakapan yang mengandung tindak tutur ekspresif dan sumber data adalah naskah film dari pemain utama “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of The Dwan Treader” by: C.S Lewis. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi.
Dari analisa ujaran yang digunakan oleh pemain utama dalam film “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of The Dawn Treader” by: C. S Lewis, peneliti menghadirkan tipe dari tindak tutur ekspresif. Ada delapan tipe dari tindak tutur ekspresif yaitu suka, tidak suka, menolak, sambutan, terimakasih, memuji, menyalahkan, dan minta maaf. Ekspresi suka mengartikan perasaan pembicara ketika dia senang dengan sesuatu atau seseorang dari ujaran yang mereka ujarkan. Ekspresi dari tidak suka mengartikan apa yang pembicara rasakan kepada seseorang atau sesuatu dari ujaran yang mereka ujarkan. Ekspresi dari menolak mengungkapkan bahwa pembicara menolak sesuatu. Ekspresi dari sambutan mengungkapkan bahwa seseorang merasa menerima atau dapat menunjukkan jika pembicara ramah. Ekspresi dari terimakasih mengungkapkan bahwa seseorang berterimakasih untuk sesuatu yang telah dilakukan. Ekpresi dari memuji mengungkapkan tentang pujian atau prestasi dari seseorang atau sesuatu. dari menyalahkan menyatakan bahwa yang seseorang lakukan salah. Ekspresi dari meminta maaf menyatakan bahwa seseorang meminta maaf telah melakukan sesuatu yang menyebabkan masalah. Mode bahasa dari tindak tutur ekspresif tipe suka menunjukan tiga ujaran yang menggunakan kalimat verbal positif, pada tipe tidak suka menunjukan satu ujaran yang menggunakan kalimat verbal positif. Ada lima ujaran yang menggunakan kalimat verbal negative dalam tindak tutur ekspresif tipe menolak. Ada dua ujaran yang menggunakan kalimat verbal positif dalam tipe tindak tutur ekspresif tipe sambutan. Pada tipe terimakasih juga menunjukkan dua ujaran yang menggunakan kalimat verbal positif.Ada lima ujaran yang menggunakan kalimat verbal positif pada tindak tutur tipe memuji. Ada dua uajaran yang menggunakan dua kalimat verbal positif pada tindak tutur ekspresif tipe menyalahkan dan terakhir tipe meminta maaf.
