ABSTRAK
Telah dilakukan pembuatan magnet permanen Barium Heksaferit yang ditambahkan dengan Ferro Boron (FeB) dengan variasi komposisi (3; 6 ;dan 9 %wt). Proses proses preparasi bahan baku mulai dari penggilingan serbuk Barium Heksaferit dengan cara dry milling selama 24 jam dan Ferro Boron (FeB) dengan cara wet milling dalam media aquades selama 1 jam. Bahan kemudian dikeringkan Pada temperatur 100 oC selama 17 jam. Dan dicampur dengan menggunakan HEM selama 15 menit. Sampel kemudian dianneal menggunakan tungku listrik
Thermolyne dengan variasi temperature annealing 1000 oC;1100 oC ;dan 1200 oC masing-masing pada temperatur tersebut ditahan selama 2 jam. Karakterisasi yang diuji meliputi sifat fisis (True Density, Optical Microscope), analisis struktur Kristal dengan XRD dan sifat magnet dengan menggunakan VSM. Dari hasil pengukuran True Density dan Optical Microscope magnet Barium Heksaferit menunjukkan bahwa nilai True Density cenderung meningkat dan ukuran partikelnya menurun sebanding dengan jumlah penambahan FeB. Kondisi optimum dicapai pada temperatur annealing 1200 oC dengan penambahan FeB (3 %wt) menghasilkan true density 5,54 g/cm3 dan ukuran partikel 116 nm. Hasil XRD membentukfasaFe2O3dengan parameter kisi a = b = 5.0380 Å, c = 13.7720
Å . Dan kurva histerisis menunjukkan nilai saturasi (s) sebesar 43.52 emu/gram,
remanensi (r) 21.94 emu/g, koersivitas (Hc) = 1,29 KOe dan BHmax =17.04
kGOe

ABSTRACT
Barium Hexaferitte permanent magnet added by Ferro Boron (FeB) have been made with the variation composition (3 ; 6 ;and 9 %wt). The preparation raw material process powder Barium Heksaferrit were done by dry milling for 24 hours and Ferro Boron (FeB) using distilled water for 1 hour. Then it is dried at a temperature of 100°C for 17 hours. And mixed with HEM for 15 minutes. Then the samples annealed using aThermolyne electric furnace and the variation of temperature annealing are 1000°C ; 1100°C ;and 1200°C hold for 2 hours.The characterizations was conducted on the physical properties, such as True Density and Optical Microscope , analyzed structure crystal using XRD, and magnetic properties with VSM. Based on the True Density and Optical Microscope
measurement, it can be concluded that Barium Heksaferitte magnet have a density values that tend to increase and the particle sizes values decrease as the decreasing of composition FeB. The optimum condition is achieved at 1200°C with a value of 3 %wt, where the density value 5.54 g/cm3 and particle size 116 nm. The results of XRDanalysis showed that the crystal structure has been formed Fe2O3
with the latiice parameters a = b = 5.0380 Å, c = 13.7720 Å .The hysteresis curves show that values of the saturation (s) sebesar 43.52 emu/gram, remanent (r)
21.94 emu/g, coercivity (Hc) = 1,29 KOe and BHmax =17.04 kGOe
