1. Description

This course provides students with the ability to understand some accounting and business texts. Students also learn grammar with the purpose to have an ability to write sentences with the correct grammar. Moreover, students are encouraged to have more self esteem in speaking English by delivering short presentation.

2. Competency Standard

After finishing this course, the students are able to understand the part of speech, understand the sentence patterns, understand the types of sentence, understand the passive and active sentences, understand prefixes and suffixes, understand modal auxiliaries, understand modifier and qualifier, understand gerund and infinitives, understand plural and singular.
