I. DESKRIPSI MATA KULIAH
This course is aimed at giving students some background knowledge about how communicative events occur and how to make interpretation over them. It discusses the general concepts of discourse and text, some elements and the structure of discourse, the types of discourse and some approaches to analyze the given discourse. Materials are compiled from several books with a hope that they can give comprehensive insight into the discussed topics.
II. STANDARISASI KOMPETENSI MATA KULIAH
Upon the completion of the course, students are expected to be able to analyze many types of discourse.
