Syllabus update

Cambridge International AS/A Level English Language (9093)

(for examination in 2016, 2017 and 2018)

We have updated this syllabus. The latest syllabus is version 4, published June 2016.

Changes have been made to the Inside Front Cover. A new bullet point has been added to ‘What has changed in 9093 …’.

• The guidance regarding ‘topic areas for examination’ for Paper 4, on page 18, now specifies

that the same three topics will be examined in 2016, 2017 and 2018.

Changes have been made to page 18, Paper 4 Language Topics: The topic areas for examination in 2016 are: now reads as The topic areas for examination in 2016, 2017 and 2018 are:
