Tujuan penulisan Tugas Akhir ini untuk mengetahui proses perencanaan kegiatan

penulisan

press release, proses penulisan

press release, dan proses kegiatan

evaluasi press release.

Metode penulisan yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif, dengan teknik

pengumpulan data seperti observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka, yang menjadi

objek pengamatan adalah Seksi Peliputan dan Dokumentasi Humas Dinas

Komunikasi dan Informatika (DISKOMINFO) Pemerintah Kota Bandung.

Pengamatan ini menghasilkan simpulan bahwa terdapat tiga proses dalam

pembuatan

press release di Seksi Peliputan dan Dokumentasi Humas Dinas

Komunikasi dan Informatika (DISKOMINFO) Pemerintah Kota Bandung.

Pertama, perencaanan yang meliputi pengembangan issue, menentukan topik,

menentukan khalayak, dan menentukan media. Kedua, penulisan yang meliputi,

menyusun strategi pesan dan tahap penulisan pesan. Ketiga, evaluasi yang

meliputi pengujian

press release sebelum didistribusikan, dan evaluasi setelah

kegiatan penulisan press release

.

Release by The Department Of Communications and Information Government

The purpose this study was to determine the planning process of press release, the

writing process of press releases, and the evaluating process of Press release.

The writing method that used is descriptive, in involves several data collection

techniques are observation, interview, and literature study. The object is of the

observation is a Coverage and Documentation Section of the Public Relations

Office of Communications and Information Government of Bandung.This is

observation indicates that there are three processes in the writing process of press

release in the Coverage and Documentation Section of the Public Relations Office

of Communications and Information Government of Bandung, first: planning that

includes the development of the issue, determining the topict, the audience, and

the media. Second: the writing that include the stage organizing message strategy

and the stage message writing. Third: the evaluation that includes a

pre-distributed press release test the evaluation pasca pre-distributed press release.
