5. Tindakan pemadam kebakaran

1. Alat yang diperlukan: sprayed water jet, busa, bubuk pemadam kebakaran, CO2 dan pasir.

2. Padamkan pada saat sumber api masih kecil jika memungkinkan. 3. Gunakan alat pelindung respirator.

4. Pada ruangan yang berventilasi cukup: gunakan masker penutup muka dengan kombinasi filter seperti ABEK-P2 (tidak memberikan perlindungan terhadap karbon monoksida).

5. Pada ruangan tertutup : gunakan alat pernafasan (respirator) dengan tabung oksigen sendiri. Isi air pemadam kebakaran.

6. Bila terjadi kebakaran, pembentukan hidrogen klorida, hidrogen sianida, hidrogen florida, karbon monoksida dan nitrogen oksida harus diantisipasi.

6. Petunjuk Bila terjadi Kecelakaan PETUNJUK PENANGANAN YANG AMAN:

Bahan kemasan yang sesuai : HDPE (high density polyethylene), LDPE, aluminium bahan lapisan permukaan, blackplate – bahan lapisan permukaan. Pada saat wadah terbuka, gunakan ventilasi/pengisap udara lokal untuk mencegah penyebaran uap. Buatlah tempat khusus untuk produk dan sediakan air Untuk pemadam kebakaran.

PETUNJUK PENCEGAHAN TERJADINYA KEBAKARAN DAN LEDAKAN:

Simpanlah produk sedemikian rupa sehingga terhindar dari bahan lain yang bila tercampur dapat menimbulkan ledakan.Jauhkan dari sumber api dan jangan merokok. Simpanlah wadah tertutup rapat dan letakkan pada ruangan yang berventilasi baik. Ambil tindakan pencegahan terhadap terjadinya medan listrik statis (gesekan yang dapat menimbulkan medan listrik). INFORMASI PENYIMPANAN:

Lihat No. 15 untuk peraturan penyimpanan. Perhatikan peraturan yang tertuang dalam konsep VCI untuk penyimpanan secara terpisah / umum. Untuk menjaga kualitas, simpan produk di tempat yang kering dan hindarkan dari tempat yang bersuhu dibawah 0°C dan diatas 40°C. Simpan tertutup rapat, terkunci, serta diluar jangkauan anak-anak. Jauhkan dari bahan makanan, minuman dan makanan ternak.

7. Penanganan dan Penyimpanan

1. Untuk menjaga kualitas, simpan produk di tempat yang kering dan hindarkan dari tempat yang bersuhu dibawah -10 dan diatas 40°C.

2. Simpan tertutup rapat, terkunci, serta diluar jangkauan anak-anak. 3. Jauhkan dari bahan makanan, minuman dan makanan ternak.

4. Simpanlah produk sedemikian rupa sehingga terhindar dari bahan lain yang bila tercampur dapat menimbulkan ledakan.

5. Hindarkan dari sumber api dan jangan merokok.

6. Simpanlah wadah tertutup rapat dan letakkan pada ruangan yang berventilasi cukup. 7. Ambil tindakan pencegahan terhadap terjadinya medan listrik statis (gesekan yang dapat

menimbulkan medan listrik).

8. Petunjuk Kemanan Pada Pekerja

1. Untuk memperkecil terjadinya kontaminasi dapat dilihat pada No. 7 yaitu “Penanganan dan Penyimpanan”

3. Apabila menangani produk dalam keadaan terbuka tutupnya, dan bila memungkinkan terjadi kontak dengan kulit, usahakan:

a. Perlindungan pernafasan : gunakan masker berfilter ABEK-P2 b. Perlindungan tangan : pakailah sarung tangan untuk bahan kimia.

c. Alat perlindungan lainnya: pada kejadian tertentu diperlukan alat pelindung tambahan seperti menggunakan tutup kepala, sarung tangan atau sepatu boot yang tahan terhadap bahan kimia dan listrik, pakaian pelindung yang tahan bahan kimia dengan atau tanpa tabung oksigen.

Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye.Get medical attention if irritation develops and persists.

Local treatment:

Systemic treatment:

Endotracheal intubation and gastric lavage, followed by administration of charcoal and sodium sulphate.

Monitoring of respiratory and cardiac functions.

Anti-convulsive therapy: Diazepam i.v. is the remedy of choice; barbiturates, e.g. phenobarbital and calcium gluconate, may also be used.

There is no specific antidote.

Contraindication: derivatives of adrenaline. Contraindication: atropine.

Spontaneous recovery.

8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS / PERSONAL PROTECTION

Personal protective equipment

In normal use and handling conditions please refer to the label and/or leaflet. In all other cases the following recommendations would apply.

Respiratory Protection If product is handled while not enclosed, and if contact may occur: Wear respirator with a particle filter mask (protection factor 4) conforming to European norm EN149FFP1 or equivalent. Hand Protection Wear CE Marked (or equivalent) nitrile rubber gloves (minimum

thickness 0,40 mm). Wash when contaminated. Dispose of when contaminated inside, when perforated or when contamination outside cannot be removed. Wash hands always before eating, drinking, smoking or using the toilet.

Eye protection Tightly fitting safety goggles

Wear goggles conforming to EN166 (Field of Use 5 or equivalent). Skin and body protection Wear standard coverall and type 3 suit.

Wear two layers of clothing wherever possible. Polyester/cotton or cotton overalls should be worn under chemical protection suit and should be professionally laundered frequently.

If chemical protection suit is splashed, sprayed or significantly contaminated, decontaminate as far as possible, then carefully remove and dispose of as advised by manufacturer.

Hygiene measures

Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Keep working clothes separately.

Wash hands immediately after work, if necessary take a shower.

Remove soiled clothing immediately and clean thoroughly before using again. Garments that cannot be cleaned must be destroyed (burnt).
