DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF FINANCE NO. 549/KMK.04/2002 DATED DECEMBER 31, 2002

ON

THE AMENDMENT TO DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF FINANCE NO. 454/KMK.04/2002

ON IMPORTER REGISTRATION

THE MINISTER OF FINANCE,

Cons idering :

a. that in the framework of achieving the optimal result of importer registration, the registration need to be carried out electronically;

b. that based on the consideration as meant in letter a, adequate time is needed for preparing the importer registration;

c. that based on the considerations as meant in letters a and b, it is necessary to stipulate a decree of the Minister of Finance on the amendment to Decree of the Minister of Finance No. 454/KMK.04/2002 on importer registration.

In view of :

1. Law No. 10/1995 on custom affairs (Statute Book of 1995 No. 75, Supplement to Statute Book No. 3612); 2. Law No. 11/1995 on excise affairs (Statute Book of 1995 No. 76, Supplement to Statute Book No. 3613); 3. Decree of the Minister of Finance No. 453/KMK.04/2002 on customs procedures in the import field ; 4. Decree of the Minister of Finance No. 454/KMK.04/2002 on importer registration.

DECIDES :

To stipulate :

THE DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF FINANCE ON THE AMENDMENT TO DECREE OF THE MINSITER OF FINANCE NO. 454/KMK.04/2002 CONCERNING IMPORTER REGISTRATION..

Article I

The provision in Article 7 of Decree of the Minister of Finance No. 454/KMK.04/2002 on importer registration shall be amended so as to read as follows :

"Article 7

(1) SRP as meant in Article 3 paragraph (1) shall come into force as from April 1, 2003.

(2) The fulfillment of customs liabilities of importers having no SRP after April 1, 2003 can be served for one time import at the maximum, after securing approval for the Director General of Customs and Excise, while the next import is obliged to have SRP.".

Article II

For public cognizance, this decree shall be announced by placing it in State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia.
