KARKAS DAN LEMAK ABDOMINAL AYAM BROILER

ABSTRAK
Penelitian tentang Pengaruh Pemberian Air Minum mengandung Sari Buah Mengkudu (Morinda citrifolia Linn.) terhadap Bobot Potong, Karkas dan Lemak Abdominal Ayam Broiler telah dilaksanakan di Teaching Farm Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Padjadjaran sejak 24 Desember 2012 sampai 28 Januari 2013. Tujuan penelitian ini guna mengetahui pengaruh pemberian air minum mengandung sari buah mengkudu terhadap bobot potong, karkas dan lemak abdominal ayam broiler serta mendapat tingkat dosis sari buah mengkudu terhadap bobot potong dan bobot karkas cenderung meningkat, bobot lemak abdominal cenderung menurun. Penelitian ini menggunakan 100 ekor ayam broiler. Metode yang digunakan eksperimental dengan empat perlakuan dan lima ulangan. P0 : 0 mL sari buah mengkudu, P1 : 1 mL sari buah mengkudu, P2 : 2 mL sari buah mengkudu, P3 : 3 mL sari buah mengkudu. Uji Polinomial Ortogonal digunakan untuk melihat kecenderungan peningkatan atau penurunan respon akibat perlakuan yang diberikan. Peubah yang diamati adalah bobot potong, karkas dan lemak abdominal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pemberian sari buah mengkudu sebanyak 2 mL cenderung meningkatkan bobot potong dan bobot karkas serta bobot lemak abdominal cenderung menurun.

ABSTRACT
The research about The Effect of Giving Noni Juice (Morinda citrifolia Linn.) in Drink Water to Slaughter Weight, Carcass and Abdominal Fat of Broiler Chickens was conducted at Teaching Farm, Faculty of Animal Husbandry from 24th December 2012 to 28th January 2013. This research was aimed to know the effect of giving noni juice in drink water to slaughter weight, carcass and abdominal fat of broiler chickens also get level noni juice to increase slaughter weight and carcass weight, decrease abdominal fat. This research used 100 broilers. The method used experimental with four treatment and five replication. P0 : 0 mL noni juice, P1 : 1 mL noni juice, P2 : 2 mL noni juice, P3 : 3 mL noni juice. Polinomial Ortogonal Test used to know the increase or decrease trend of treatment was given. The observed variable were slaughter weight, carcass and abdominal fat. The result showed that noni juice with 2 mL gave increase slaughter weight and carcass weight and also decrease abdominal fat.
