Firstly, the researcher would like to thank to Allah SWT who has given the

mercy and bless her to finish this research on time. In order to finish this research,

which is titled Learning Strategies Used by the Fifth Grade Students in Improving

Vocabulary at SDN Kebraon II Surabaya, the researcher received supports from

many people, either morally or materially. Therefore, the acknowledgement of

this research is addressed to all of people, especially to:

1. Dr. M. Ridlwan, S.Pd., M.Pd., as a dean of the Faculty of Teacher Training

and Education in the University of Muhammadiyah Surabaya.

The researcher has tried to give her best in arranging this research properly
