Abstract
The purpose of this research is to improve learning motivation and social skills in ICT subjects using Cooperative Learning type Teams Games Tournament (TGT) in the junior class VII in Maniamas Ngabang. Based on the existing problems of observations and interviews were conducted to teachers and students, the research was conducted by implementing Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model. This research is done by using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) design in collaboration with classroom teachers, where researchers collaborate or cooperate with classroom teacher to implement the cooperative learning TGT type in teaching ICT. The result of this research has shown that using cooperative learning type TGT method has been successfully implemented on ICT subject in the junior class VII in Maniamas Ngabang. It is seen from the increase of learning motivation and social skills of students from pre-cycle, the first cycle, to the second cycle. The increase of learning motivation and social skill have answered the research hypothesis that Cooperative Learning type TGT method can improve learning motivation and social skill in ICT subject in the junior class VII Maniamas Ngabang.
