Abstract: ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), which reportedly will take effect in late 2015 which goods, services, capital and skilled labor would flowed freely. AEC impact would be tasteless to the corners of the area in the State of Indonesia. Lack of knowledge about the AEC in Indonesian society, especially the societies residing in villages and remote villages either caused the lack of media or government socialization. It becomes Homework for all the people who wanted to stay and help our brothers in the era of free market.
Recommended on research method that has been used in this study. The method of exploratory descriptive, approach to the study of literature, theoretical approaches and methods interview. It’s positive and significant give impact on employers or owner shop in the village of Kukusan District of Kendit City of Situbondo East Java, where readiness businessman or shopkeeper and the role of government, especially the government in the field of SMEs become the benchmark Indonesia's success in facing this challenge.
