Perubahan Tekanan Darah pada Mahasiswa FK USU Angkatan 2012 Penderita Obesitas dan Non-Obesitas Setelah Melakukan Aktivitas Fisik
Latar Belakang.

ABSTRACT
Blood pressure changes For Obesity And Non-Obese Patients After Doing Physical Activity at FK USU Student 2012 Batch
Background. Obesity is an important risk factor for the occurrence of diseases such as hypertension, and the prevalence of obesity in Indonesia are higher and 31.7% with hypertension. Momentary physical activity can increase blood pressure and obesity increased blood pressure is higher due to the direct effect of obesity on hemodynamics and increased peripheral resistance.
Aim. Knowing the difference in blood pressure of FK USU Students in 2012
batch of the obese and non-obese after physical activity.
Method. Experimental research conducted pretest-posttest control group design in FK USU in the range of August-September 2015. Sampling done through consecutive sampling. Blood pressure measurements were taken directly to the students of obese and non-obese at 5 minutes after the break/relax (pretest) and immediately after physical activity (posttest). Physical activity such as going up and down the bench as high as 30 cm at a rate of 30 times per minute for 3 minute.
Result. From the 26 samples of obese and 26 samples of non-obese obtained a
mean BMI of the obese and non-obese group was 30.35 ± 2.32 kg/m2 and 21.03 ±
1.62 kg/m2. Results of data analysis obtained an average increase of TDS, TDD,
and the pulse in the obese group was higher than the non-obese group. Namely 18.46 ± 4.64 mmHg and 14.23 ± 6.43 mmHg for TDS, 17.30 ± 9.19 mmHg and 11.15 ± 5.15 mmHg for TDD, and 32 ± 6.17 times/min and 23.76 ± 3.76 times/minute for a pulse. While the increase in TDS, TDD, and the pulse is higher in women compared with men both in the group of obese and non-obese group. Conclusion. Physical activity causes momentary increase TDS, TDD, and pulse were higher in obese subjects than non-obese subjects. And an increase in the average TDS, TDD, and the pulse is higher in women compared to men.
