This AMENDMENT NO. 3, is entered into between the ｾｩｐｕｂｌｉｃ＠ Of

ｉＱｾｄｏｎｅｓｉａ＠ ("rlorrower") and the UNITED STAi'ES OF ａｴＱｅＮｩＮｾｉｃａＬ＠ acting

through the AGENCY ｆｏｾ＠ INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPt1cNT ("A. I. D.").

wHEREAS, the Borrower ana A.I.D. entered into a Sederhana

Irrigation and Development II Loan Agreement, designated as A.l.D.

Loan No. 497-f-054, on August 31, 1978 ("Loan Agreement"), whereby

A.I.D. agreed to lend to the Borrower up to Fourteen Million Seven

tlundred l'housand United States ("Ll.S.") Dollars ($14,700,000)

("Loan"), and

WHEKEAS, the 8orrower and A.I.D. amended the Loan Agreement on

April 19, 1Y79, to increase the amount of the Loan to $25,000,000,

and again on July Lb, 1984, to reduce the amount of the Loan to

$24,045,000;

wHEKEAS, the Borrower and A.I.D. agree that the objectives of

the Project may be accomplished by a further reduction in the Loan

of $2,26),380;

NOW ｬｴｬｅｾｅｦｏｋＮｅＬ＠ tne Borrower and A.l.D. hereby agree that the

Loan Agreement is amended as follows:

1. Section 3.1. of the Loan Agreement is hereby amended by

substituting the words "twenty-one million, seven hundred and

seventy-nine thousand, and six hundred and twenty United States

("U.S.") dollars ($21,779,620)" for the words "twenty-four million

and forty-five thousand United States ("U.S.") dollars

-2. A revised financial plan is attached as Annex I to this

Amendment .

3. Except as hereinabove expressly amended, the Loan Agreement

as amended remains in full force and effect in accordance with all

of its terms.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Borrower and the United States of

America, each acting through its r.espectjve duly authorized

representatjve, nave caused this Amendment No. 3 to be signed in

their names and delivered as of the day and year first above written.
