This AMENDMENT No. 2 is entered into between the REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA ("BORROWER") and the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, acting through the AGENCY FOR INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT ("A.I.D. 11_{) .}

WHEREAS, the Borrower and A.I.D. entered into a Faculties of Public Health Project Loan Agreement designated as A.I.D. Loan No. 497-U-089 on July 26, 1985, which was amended on October 8, 1987 ("Loan Agreement"), whereby A.I.D. agreed to lend to the Borrower up to Five Million United States ("U.S.") Dollars

( $ 5 , O O O , O O O ) ( " Loan" ) ;

WHEREAS, the Borrower and A.I.D. desire to amend the Loan

Agreement to reduce the amount of A.I.D. loan financing available for the project by Four Hundred Sixty-five Thousand One Hundred Ninety-seven United States ("U.S.") Dollars ($465,197) and to make other related changes in the Loan Agreement;

NOW, THEREFORE, the Borrower and A.I . D . hereby agree as follows:

1. The first sentence of Section 3.1, The Loan, is amended to read as follows:

-Million Five Hundred Thirty-four Thousand Eight Hundred Three United States ("U.S.") Dollars ($4,534,803) ("Loan")."

2. The Budget Summary at the end of Annex I is deleted in its entirety, substituting therefor the revised budget summary

attached to this Amendment No. 2.

3. Except as expressly amended herein, the Loan Agreement is unchanged and, as amended, remains in full force and effect.
