POLA PERESEPAN ANTIBIOTIK DARI DOKTER GIGI PADA APOTEK-APOTEK DI KOTA MEDAN PERIODE MARET 2017-MEI 2017
ABSTRAK
Antibiotik merupakan obat yang sangat berperan dalam memerangi infeksi yang ditimbulkan oleh bakteri. Intensitas penggunaan antibiotik yang relatif tinggi dapat menimbulkan berbagai permasalahan dan menjadi ancaman global bagi kesehatan terutama resistensi bakteri terhadap antibiotik. Contohnya sering kita lihat penggunaan antibiotic yang diresepkan oleh dokter gigi. Maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola peresepan antibiotik dari dokter gigi pada apotek-apotek di kota medan periode Maret - Mei 2017.
Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif yang di lakukan secara retrospektif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada bulan juni 2017. Data yang diambil pada periode Maret 2017 sampai dengan Mei 2017. Dari 100 apotek diperoleh populasi sebanyak 864 resep dari dokter gigi dan terdapat 678 resep dokter gigi yang mengandung antibiotik. Antibiotik tersebut dianalisis pola peresepannya berdasarkan Jenis dan Golongan antibiotik, Durasi pemakaian, Aturan pemakaian, Bentuk sediaan, jenis obat, serta obat selain antibiotik yang sering diresepkan oleh dokter gigi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa antibiotik yang sering diresepkan oleh dokter gigi adalah golongan penicillin sebanyak 402 resep (55,60%) dengan jenis amoxicillin. Berdasarkan bentuk sediaan sebanyak 519 resep (71.79%) dari dokter gigi meresepkan antibiotik dengan bentuk sediaan tablet. Berdasarkan durasi pemakaian sebanyak 419 resep (57,95%) memiliki durasi pemakaian selama 3 hari. Berdasarkan aturan pakai sebanyak 601 resep (83,13%) dengan aturan pakai 3x sehari. Berdasarkan jenis antibiotik sebanyak 386 resep (53,39%) dengan jenis merk generik. Dan berdasarkan obat selain antibiotik yang diresepkan dokter gigi ialah golongan analgesik sebanyak 313 resep (34,67%) yaitu obat asam mefenamat.
Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pola peresepan antibiotik dari dokter gigi terbanyak adalah golongan penicillin, Bentuk sediaan tablet, Aturan pakai 3x sehari, Durasi pemakaian selama 3 hari, jenis obat merek generik, serta Obat selain antibiotik yang di resepkan ialah obat asam mefenamat golongan analgesik.

ANTIBIOTIC PRESCRIBING PATTERN FROM DENTISTS IN PHARMACIES IN MEDAN ALONG MARCH 2017 TO MAY 2017
ABSTRACT
Antibiotic is a drug that is very instrumental in fighting the infection caused by bacteria. The intensity of antibiotic usage which relatively high may cause various problems and become a global threat to health, especially bacterial resistance to antibiotics. Instance often we see the use of antibiotics is prescribed by the dentist. So this study aims to determine the pattern of antibiotic prescribing from dentists in pharmacies in Medan along March 2017 to May 2017.
This research was done by descriptive method which is done retrospectively. Data collection was undertaken in June 2017. Data were taken from March 2017 to May 2017. Out of 100 pharmacies, there were 864 prescriptions from dentists and 678 dentist prescriptions containing antibiotics. Antibiotics were analyzed prescribing patterns based on type and class of antibiotics, duration of use, rules of use, forms of dosage, types of drugs, and drugs other than antibiotics which often prescribed by the dentist.
The results showed that antibiotics are often prescribed by the dentist was a class of penicillin total of 402 prescriptions (55.60%) with the type of amoxicillin. Based on the dosage form total of 519 prescriptions (71.79%) of the dentists prescribe antibiotics with tablet dosage form. Based on the duration of use total of 419 prescriptions (57.95%) have duration of use for 3 days. Based on the rules of use total of 601 prescriptions (83.13%) with the rules of use 3x a day. Based on the type of antibiotics total of 386 prescriptions (53.39%) with the type of generic brands. And based on drugs other than the antibiotics prescribed by the dentist is the analgesic total of 313 prescriptions (34.67%) i.e. mefenamic acid drug.
It can be concluded that the antibiotic prescribing pattern of the most dentists is the penicillin group, The dosage form is tablets, The rules used is 3 times a day, Duration of use is for 3 days, The drug type is generic brand, and Drugs other than antibiotics which often prescribed is analgesic drug i.e. mefenamic acid.
