ABSTRACT
The development of research on the processing or manufacture of wine until it's been a lot of progress, seen from the results of research on alternative energy from the basic ingredients of beer. The progress made today is the quality of the wine production has reached a concentration above 95%. But wine production capacity is still low around 1 liter within 4 hours of production time. So not qualify as a fuel. The target of this research is the creation of a technology that can produce a wine with a production capacity and better quality. The method used in order to achieve the objectives of this study are:
The Þ rst method of designing is designing and making scientiÞ c instruments
forced condensation transverse ß ow type. Second the experimental method to
carry out testing on a variety of operational variables such as the cooling ß uid ß ow rate variables that affect the rate of production. A third test on the performance of the engine by using fuel arak bali. The greater the cooling ß uid ß ow rate results in greater cooling rate, affect the rate of condensation getting bigger so that the rate of production increases. But inversely proportional to the quality of production, the greater the cooling ß uid ß ow rate affects the quality of the lower production. Arak bali for testing as a fuel on the machine type carburator, increased concentration of arak bali affect the speciÞ c fuel consumption increasing, decreasing torque and engine power.
