ABSTRAK
Penelitian mengenai Performa Produksi Telur Dua Galur Ayam Sentul di Balai Pengembangan Perbibitan Ternak Unggas Jatiwangi, Majalengka, telah dilakukan dari tanggal 18 Maret-16 April 2013. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui performa produksi telur ayam Sentul Kelabu dan Batu, mengetahui perbandingan performa produksi telur ayam Sentul Kelabu dan Batu. Metode yang digunakan deskriptif analitik dan analisis uji t-student. Jumlah ayam Sentul yang diteliti sebanyak 39 ekor ayam Sentul Kelabu dan 23 ekor ayam Sentul Batu. Peubah yang diamati adalah konsumsi ransum, bobot telur, dan hen-day
production. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa performa kedua galur baik ayam
Sentul Kelabu dan ayam Sentul Batu memberikan perbedaan yang nyata (P>0,05) terhadap konsumsi ransum dan memberikan perbedaan yang tidak nyata terhadap bobot telur. Kesimpulan ini ditunjang oleh data hasil penelitian yang menjelaskan bahwa rataan konsumsi ayam Sentul Kelabu yaitu 78,26 gram/ekor/hari dan ayam Sentul Batu yaitu 74,14 gram/ekor/hari, sedangkan untuk bobot telur rata-rata untuk ayam Sentul Kelabu yaitu 40,05 gram/butir dan ayam Sentul Batu yaitu 39,40 gram/butir. Hen-day ayam Sentul Kelabu sebesar 21,03% dan ayam Sentul Batu sebesar 19,86%.

ABSTRACT
This research on Egg Production Performance Two Strains of Chickens Sentul in Bureau Development of Poultry Breeding Jatiwangi Majalengka, had been conducted, during the month of March 18th 2013 up to April 16th 2013. The aim of this research was to know difference performance eggs production between Sentul Kelabu Chicken and Sentul Batu Chicken. The data were analyzed description and independent sample t-test. The research had been taken care by using description method on 39 Sentul Kelabu Chicken and 23 Sentul Batu Cicken. Performance eggs production had been feed intake, egg weight, and hen-day production. The result of the research shows that the treatments are not significant (P>0.05) to the egg weight, and significant to the feed intake. This conclusion is supported by research data that explains that the average consumption of two strains of Sentul chicken is 78,26 grams/head/day for Sentul Kelabu chicken, and 74,14 grams/head/day. Egg weight average for Sentul chicken Grey and Stone is 40,05 grams/grains and 39,40 grams/grains the analysis was not significantly different (P>0.05). Hen-day average Sentul Kelabu chicken is 21,03% and Sentul Batu chicken is 19,86%.
