Important

Read this user manual carefully before you use the appliance and save it for future reference. Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the local mains voltage before you connect the appliance.

Do not use the appliance if the plug, the cord or the appliance itself is damaged.

If the mains cord is damaged, you must have it replaced by Philips, a service centre authorised by Philips or similarly qualifi ed persons in order to avoid a hazard.

Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.

Never suck up water or any other liquid. Never suck up fl ammable substances and do not suck up ashes until they are cold.

Do not point the hose, the tube or any other accessory at the eyes or ears nor put it in your mouth when it is connected to the vacuum cleaner and the vacuum cleaner is switched on. Do not suck up large objects as this may cause the air passage in the tube or hose to become obstructed.

Never use the appliance without the Motor Protection Filter. This could damage the motor and shorten the life of the appliance.

Only use the Philips fi lter cylinder supplied with the appliance.

Electromagnetic fi elds (EMF)

This Philips appliance complies with all standards regarding electromagnetic fi elds (EMF). If handled properly and according to the instructions in this user manual, the appliance is safe to use based on scientifi c evidence available today.

Preparing for use

Connecting accessories

Hose

1 To connect the hose, insert the hose fastening hook into the opening (1) and then push the hose connector downwards (‘click’) (2) (Fig. 2) .

2 To disconnect the hose, press the release buttons (1) and pull the hose connector out of the hose connection opening (2). (Fig. 3)

Telescopic tube

1 To connect the tube to the handgrip of the hose, press the spring-loaded lock button on the handgrip and insert the handgrip into the tube. Fit the spring-loaded lock button into the opening in the tube (‘click’) (Fig. 4) .

2 To disconnect the tube from the handgrip, press the spring-loaded lock button and pull the handgrip out of the tube.

Use the same method to connect and disconnect the nozzles.

3 Adjust the tube to the length you fi nd most comfortable during vacuum cleaning. Push the slide downwards (1) with one hand and pull the upper part of the tube upwards or push it downwards (2) with the other hand (Fig. 5) .

Tri-Active nozzle (specifi c types only)

The Tri-Active nozzle is a multi-purpose nozzle for carpets and hard fl oors.

The side brushes catch more dust and dirt at the sides of the nozzle and allow you to clean better along furniture and other obstacles (Fig. 6) .

The opening at the front of the nozzle allows you to suck up larger particles (Fig. 7) .

1 Hard fl oor setting: push the rocker switch on top of the nozzle with your foot to make the brush strip come out of the housing. At the same time, the wheel is lifted to prevent scratching and to increase manoeuvrability (Fig. 8) .

2 Carpet setting: push the rocker switch again to make the brush strip disappear into the nozzle housing. The wheel is lowered automatically (Fig. 9) .

Combination nozzle (specifi c types only)

You can use the combination nozzle on carpets (with the brush strips folded in) or on hard fl oors (with the brush strips folded out).

1 To clean hard fl oors, push the rocker switch on top of the combination nozzle with your foot. The brush strips come out of the nozzle housing.

2 To clean carpets, push the rocker switch again to make the brush strips disappear into the nozzle housing again.

Crevice tool, small nozzle (specifi c types only) and small brush

You can connect the crevice tool (1), the small nozzle (2) or the small brush (3) directly to the handgrip or to the tube (Fig. 10) .

Accessory holder (specifi c types only)

The accessory holder can simply be snapped onto the handgrip (Fig. 11) .

You can store accessories in the accessory holder by pushing them into the holder. To detach the accessories, pull them out of the holder.

You can store two accessories at a time in the accessory holder: Crevice tool and small nozzle (Fig. 12) .

Please note the way in which the small nozzle must be placed in the accessory holder. Crevice tool and small brush (Fig. 13) .

Accessory clip (specifi c types only)

The accessory clip can simply be snapped onto the tube.

You can snap the crevice tool and the small nozzle (specifi c types only) onto the clip (Fig. 14) .

Using the appliance

1 Pull the cord out of the appliance and put the mains plug in the wall socket. 2 Press the on/off button to switch on the appliance (Fig. 15) .

During vacuuming, you can adjust the suction power with the suction power knob (Fig. 16) . Use maximum suction power to vacuum very dirty carpets and hard fl oors.

Use minimum suction power to vacuum curtains, table carpets, etc.

If you want to pause for a moment, insert the ridge on the nozzle into the parking slot to park the tube in a convenient position (Fig. 17) .

Cleaning and maintenance

Do not clean any parts of the appliance in the dishwasher.

Always switch off the appliance and unplug it before you remove and clean any parts.

Emptying the dust bucket

Empty the dust bucket as soon as the dust level has reached the round disc of the fi lter cylinder case (Fig. 18) .

1 Disconnect the hose from the appliance.

2 Pull the dust bucket retainer downwards to release the dust bucket (Fig. 19) . 3 Grab the dust bucket handle and lift the dust bucket out of the appliance (Fig. 20) . 4 Hold the dust bucket over a dustbin and lift the fi lter cylinder case out of it. (Fig. 21) 5 Empty the dust bucket into the dustbin (Fig. 22) .

You can clean the dust bucket with cold tap water and some washing-up liquid.

6 Put the fi lter cylinder case back into the dust bucket and put the bucket back into the appliance.

Make sure you have inserted the fi lter cylinder into the fi lter cylinder case, otherwise it is not possible to close the dust bucket retainer.

Cleaning and maintenance of fi lters Filter cylinder

Clean the fi lter cylinder every week.

1 Remove the dust bucket from the appliance, unlock the fi lter cylinder lock (1) and lift the fi lter cylinder out of the fi lter cylinder case (2) (Fig. 23) .

2 Clean the fi lter cylinder with the brush supplied. Brush from the top of the fi lter cylinder downwards along the ribs (Fig. 24) .

Only use the brush supplied! Other brushes may damage the fi lter cylinder. 3 Remove the fi lter cylinder case from the dust bucket.

4 If there is any dirt on the inside of the fi lter cylinder case, empty the case over a dustbin. 5 If necessary, clean the fi lter cylinder case with cold tap water and some washing-up

liquid (Fig. 25) .

6 If you want to wash the fi lter cylinder, wash it thoroughly with only water.

Do not use any soap, washing-up liquid or other detergent to clean the fi lter cylinder. Let the fi lter cylinder dry completely before you reinsert it into the case.

7 Unlock the fi lter cylinder lock and put the fi lter cylinder back into the fi lter cylinder case. 8 Put the fi lter cylinder case back into the dust bucket and put the dust bucket back into the

appliance.

Motor Protection Filter

Clean the Motor Protection Filter once a year.

1 Take the Motor Protection Filter out of the appliance (Fig. 26) . 2 Tap the dust out of the fi lter over a dustbin.

If the Motor Protection Filter is very dirty, you can also rinse it with cold tap water.

Do not use washing-up liquid or any other cleaning agent to clean the Motor Protection Filter! 3 Press the clean Motor Protection Flter fi rmly back into the fi lter compartment to ensure

that it is properly placed. (Fig. 27)

Super Clean Air Filter (specifi c types only)

The Super Clean Air Filter located in the back of the appliance has electrostatically charged fi bres. These fi bres fi lter a large part of the smaller particles from the exhaust air.

Replace the Super Clean Air Filter every six months. 1 Open the fi lter grille (Fig. 28) .

2 Remove the fi lter holder (Fig. 29) .

3 Open the fi lter holder and remove the old fi lter (Fig. 30) .

4 Place the new fi lter in the fi lter holder and close the holder (‘click’) (Fig. 31) . 5 Put the fi lter holder back into the appliance (Fig. 32) .

6 Close the fi lter grille (‘click’) (Fig. 33) .

Super Clean Air HEPA Filter (specifi c types only)

Instead of with the Super Clean Air Filter, some types are equipped with the special Super Clean Air HEPA Filter. This fi lter is able to remove 99.5% of all particles down to 0.0003mm in size from the outlet air. This not only includes normal house dust, but also harmful microscopic vermin such as house dust mites and their excrements, which are well-known causes of respiratory allergies.

Replace the Super Clean Air HEPA Filter every six months.

You can replace this fi lter in the same way as the Super Clean Air Filter.

Storage

1 Switch off the appliance and remove the mains plug from the wall socket. 2 Press the cord rewind button to rewind the mains cord (Fig. 34) .

3 Insert the ridge on the nozzle into the parking slot to attach the nozzle to the appliance. Store the appliance in horizontal position, with all wheels touching the fl oor (Fig. 17) . 4 Always put the Tri-Active nozzle in the carpet setting when you store it and prevent the side

brushes from becoming bent (Fig. 9) .

Philips fi lter cylinders are available under service number 4322 004 93320. Super Clean Air Filters are available under type number FC8032.

Super Clean Air HEPA Filters are available under type number FC8044.

Environment

Do not throw away the appliance with the normal household waste at the end of its life, but hand it in at an offi cial collection point for recycling. By doing this, you help to preserve the environment (Fig. 35) .

Troubleshooting

1 The suction power is insuffi cient.

Make sure the suction power knob is in maximum position. Perhaps the fi lter cylinder is dirty. Clean the fi lter cylinder.

Perhaps the other fi lters are dirty. Clean or replace the other fi lters.

The nozzle, tube or hose may be blocked up. To remove the obstruction, disconnect the blocked-up item and connect it (as far as possible) the other way around. Switch the vacuum cleaner on to force the air through the blocked-up item in opposite direction (Fig. 36) . 2 The dust bucket retainer cannot be closed.

Make sure you have inserted the fi lter cylinder properly into the fi lter cylinder case.

Jangan menyedot benda besar karena dapat menyebabkan saluran udara dalam pipa atau selang terhalang.

Jangan sekali-kali menggunakan alat tanpa Saringan Pelindung Motor. Ini dapat merusak motor dan memperpendek usia pakai alat.

Hanya gunakan silinder saringan Philips yang disediakan bersama alat.

Medan elektromagnet (EMF)

Alat Philips ini mematuhi semua standar yang berkenaan dengan medan elektromagnet (EMF). Jika ditangani sebagaimana layaknya dan sesuai dengan petunjuk dalam buku panduan ini, alat tersebut aman digunakan menurut bukti ilmiah yang kini tersedia.

Persiapan penggunaan

Menghubungkan aksesori

Selang

1 Untuk menghubungkan selang, sisipkan kait pengencang selang ke dalam lubang (1) lalu tekan konektor selang ke bawah (ada bunyi ‘klik’) (2) (Gbr. 2) .

2 Untuk melepaskan selang, tekan tombol pelepas (1) lalu tarik konektor selang keluar dari lubang sambungan selang (2). (Gbr. 3)

Pipa teleskopik

1 Untuk menghubungkan pipa ke penggenggam selang, tekan tombol kunci beban pegas pada penggenggam lalu sisipkan penggenggam ke dalam pipa. Pasang tombol kunci beban pegas ke dalam lubang pipa (ada bunyi ‘klik’) (Gbr. 4) .

2 Untuk melepaskan pipa dari penggenggam, tekan tombol kunci beban pegas lalu tarik penggenggam keluar pipa.

Gunakan metode yang sama untuk menghubungkan dan melepaskan nozel.

3 Sesuaikan panjang pipa yang Anda rasakan paling nyaman selama melakukan penyedotan debu. Tekan geseran ke bawah (1) dengan satu tangan dan tarik bagian atas pipa ke arah atas atau tekan ke bawah (2) dengan tangan yang lain (Gbr. 5) .

Nozel Tri-Active (hanya tipe tertentu)

Nozel Tri-Active adalah nozel multi-guna untuk karpet dan lantai yang keras.

Sikat samping menyedot lebih banyak debu dan kotoran di samping nozel dan Anda dapat membersihkan perabotan dan lainnya dengan lebih baik (Gbr. 6) .

Melalui lubang di bagian depan nozel Anda dapat menyedot partikel yang lebih besar (Gbr. 7) . 1 Pengaturan lantai keras: tekan saklar rocker di atas nozel dengan kaki Anda untuk

mengeluarkan bilah sikat dari wadahnya. Pada saat yang bersamaan, roda terangkat untuk mencegah goresan dan untuk menambah daya gerak (Gbr. 8) .

2 Pengaturan karpet: tekan lagi saklar rocker untuk memasukkan bilah sikat ke dalam wadah nozel. Roda diturunkan secara otomatis (Gbr. 9) .

Nozel kombinasi (hanya tipe tertentu)

Anda dapat menggunakan nozel kombinasi pada karpet (dengan bilah sikat yang terlipat masuk) atau pada lantai yang keras (dengan bilah sikat terlipat keluar).

1 Untuk membersihkan lantai yang keras, tekan saklar rocker di atas nozel kombinasi dengan kaki Anda. Bilah sikat akan keluar dari wadah nozel.

2 Untuk membersihkan karpet, tekan lagi saklar rocker untuk memasukkan lagi bilah sikat ke dalam wadah nozel.

Piranti celah, nozel kecil (hanya tipe tertentu) dan sikat kecil

Anda dapat menghubungkan piranti celah (1), nozel kecil (2) atau sikat kecil (3) langsung ke penggenggam atau ke pipa (Gbr. 10) .

Pegangan aksesori (hanya tipe tertentu)

Pegangan aksesori mudah dihentakkan pada penggenggam (Gbr. 11) .

Anda dapat menyimpan aksesori di pegangan aksesori dengan menekannya ke dalam pegangannya. Untuk melepaskan aksesori, tarik keluar dari pegangannya.

Anda dapat menyimpan dua aksesori setiap kali pada pegangan aksesori: Piranti celah dan nozel kecil (Gbr. 12) .

Harap diperhatikan bagaimana nozel kecil harus ditempatkan pada pegangan aksesori. Piranti celah dan sikat kecil (Gbr. 13) .

Aksesori klip (hanya tipe tertentu)

Aksesori klip mudah dihentakkan pada pipa.

Anda dapat menghentakkan piranti celah dan nozel kecil (hanya tipe tertentu) pada klip (Gbr. 14) .

Menggunakan alat

1 Tarik keluar kabel alat dan pasang steker listrik pada stopkontak di dinding. 2 Tekan tombol on/off untuk menghidupkan alat (Gbr. 15) .

Sewaktu penyedotan debu, Anda dapat menyesuaikan daya isap melalui tombol daya isap (Gbr. 16) .

Gunakan daya isap maksimum untuk menyedot karpet dan lantai keras yang sangat kotor. Gunakan daya isap minimum untuk menyedot debu pada gorden, karpet meja, dsb.. Jika Anda ingin berhenti sejenak, sisipkan bubungan pada nozel ke dalam slot parkir untuk memarkir pipa pada posisi yang nyaman (Gbr. 17) .

Pembersihan dan perawatan

Jangan membersihkan komponen alat yang manapun di dalam mesin cuci piring.

Selalu matikan alat dan cabut sebelum Anda melepaskan dan membersihkan komponen apa pun.

Mengosongkan penampung debu

Segera kosongkan penampung debu apabila tingkat debu sudah mencapai cakram bundar wadah silinder saringan (Gbr. 18) .

1 Lepaskan selang dari alat.

2 Tarik penahan penampung debu ke bawah untuk melepaskan penampung debu (Gbr. 19) . 3 Genggam gagang penampung debu lalu angkat penampung debu keluar dari alat (Gbr. 20) . 4 Pegang penampung debu di atas keranjang sampah lalu angkat wadah silinder saringan ke atas

keranjang sampah. (Gbr. 21)

5 Tuangkan penampung debu ke dalam keranjang sampah (Gbr. 22) .

Anda dapat membersihkan penampung debu dengan air keran dingin dan cairan pencuci. 6 Kembalikan wadah silinder saringan ke dalam penampung debu dan masukkan kembali

penampung debu ke alat.

Pastikan Anda sudah memasang silinder saringan ke dalam wadah silinder saringan, sebab kalau tidak dipasang, penahan penampung debu tidak dapat ditutup.

Pembersihan dan pemeliharaan saringan Silinder saringan

Bersihkan silinder saringan setiap minggu.

1 Lepaskan penampung debu dari alat, buka kunci silinder saringan (1) lalu angkat silinder saringan keluar dari wadahnya (2) (Gbr. 23) .

2 Bersihkan silinder saringan dengan sikat yang disediakan. Sikat silinder saringan dari atas ke bawah di sepanjang rusuknya (Gbr. 24) .

Hanya gunakan sikat yang disediakan! Menggunakan sikat lain dapat merusak silinder saringan. 3 Keluarkan wadah silinder saringan dari penampung debu.

4 Jika masih ada kotoran di dalam wadah silinder saringan, tuangkan wadah di atas keranjang sampah.

5 Jika perlu, bersihkan wadah silinder saringan dengan air keran dingin dan cairan pencuci (Gbr. 25) .

6 Jika Anda ingin mencuci silinder saringan, cucilah seluruhnya hanya dengan menggunakan air. Jangan menggunakan sabun, cairan pencuci atau deterjen untuk membersihkan silinder saringan. Biarkan silinder saringan sampai benar-benar kering sebelum Anda memasangkannya kembali ke dalam wadahnya.

7 Buka kunci silinder saringan lalu taruh kembali silinder saringan ke dalam wadahnya. 8 Kembalikan wadah silinder saringan ke dalam penampung debu dan masukkan kembali

penampung debu ke alat.

Saringan Pelindung Motor

Bersihkan Saringan Pelindung Motor satu kali dalam setahun. 1 Keluarkan Saringan Pelindung Motor dari alat (Gbr. 26) .

2 Ketuk-ketuk agar debu keluar dari saringan di atas keranjang sampah.

Jika Saringan Pelindung Motor sangat kotor, Anda dapat juga membilasnya dengan air keran dingin. Jangan menggunakan cairan pencuci atau bahan pembersih lainnya untuk membersihkan Saringan Pelindung Motor!

3 Tekan kuat-kuat Saringan Pelindung Motor yang sudah bersih ke dalam petak saringan untuk memastikan, bahwa saringan sudah ditempatkan dengan benar. (Gbr. 27)

Saringan Udara Super Bersih (hanya tipe tertentu)

Saringan Udara Super Bersih yang terletak di belakang alat dilengkapi muatan elektrostatis. Serat-serat ini menyaring bagian partikel yang lebih kecil dari udara buangan.

Mengganti Saringan Udara Super Bersih setiap enam bulan. 1 Buka kisi saringan (Gbr. 28) .

2 Keluarkan pegangan saringan (Gbr. 29) .

3 Buka pegangan saringan dan keluarkan saringan yang lama (Gbr. 30) .

4 Taruh saringan baru dalam pegangan saringan lalu tutup (ada bunyi ‘klik’) (Gbr. 31) . 5 Taruh kembali pegangan saringan ke dalam alat (Gbr. 32) .

Saringan Udara Super Bersih HEPA (hanya tipe tertentu)

Sebagai pengganti Saringan Udara Super Bersih, beberapa tipe diperlengkapi dengan Saringan Udara Super Bersih HEPA khusus. Saringan ini dapat membuang 99,5% dari semua partikel hingga seukuran 0,0003mm dari udara buangan. Ini tidak hanya menyertakan debu rumah, tapi juga binatang kecil yang berbahaya seperti kutu dan kotorannya, yang diketahui bisa menyebabkan alergi saluran pernapasan.

Mengganti Saringan Udara Super Bersih HEPA setiap enam bulan.

Anda dapat mengganti saringan ini dengan cara yang sama seperti mengganti Saringan Udara Super Bersih.

Penyimpanan

1 Matikan alat dan lepaskan steker listrik dari stopkontak di dinding. 2 Tekan tombol gulung kabel untuk menggulung kabel listrik (Gbr. 34) .

3 Sisipkan bubungan pada nozel ke dalam slot parkir untuk memasangkan nozel ke alat. Simpan alat pada posisi horisontal dan semua rodanya menyentuh lantai (Gbr. 17) .

4 Selalu atur nozel Tri-Active dalam pengaturan karpet sewaktu Anda menyimpannya dan perhatikan baik-baik agar sikat samping tidak bengkok (Gbr. 9) .

Silinder saringan Philips tersedia dengan nomor servis 4322 004 93320. Saringan Udara Super Bersih dengan nomor tipe FC8032.

Saringan Udara Super Bersih HEPA tersedia dengan nomor tipe FC8044.

Lingkungan

Jangan membuang alat bersama limbah rumah tangga biasa jika alat sudah tidak bisa dipakai lagi, tetapi serahkan ke tempat pengumpulan barang bekas yang resmi untuk didaur ulang. Dengan melakukan hal ini, Anda ikut membantu melestarikan lingkungan. (Gbr. 35)

Mengatasi Masalah

1 Daya isap tidak memadai.

Pastikan tombol daya isap berada pada posisi maksimum. Mungkin silinder saringan kotor. Bersihkan silinder saringan.

Mungkin saringan lainnya kotor. Bersihkan atau ganti saringan tersebut.

Mungkin nozel, pipa atau selang terhalang. Untuk menghilangkan penghalang, lepaskan benda yang menghalanginya lalu sambungkan (sejauh mungkin) ke arah sebaliknya. Nyalakan vacuum cleaner untuk memaksa udara menerobos benda yang terhalang di arah yang

berlawanan (Gbr. 36) .

2 Penahan penampung debu tidak dapat ditutup.

Pastikan Anda sudah menyisipkan silinder saringan dengan benar ke dalam wadahnya.

Não aspire objetos grandes para evitar a obstrução da passagem de ar no tubo ou na mangueira.

Nunca use o aparelho sem o fi ltro de proteção do motor. Isso pode danifi car o motor e reduzir a vida útil do aparelho.

Use somente o cilindro de fi ltro Philips fornecido com o aparelho.

Este aparelho Philips atende a todos os padrões relacionados a campos eletromagnéticos. Se manuseado adequadamente e de acordo com as instruções deste manual do usuário, a utilização do aparelho é segura baseando-se em evidências científi cas atualmente disponíveis.

Preparação para o uso

Conexão dos acessórios

Mangueira

1 Para conectar a mangueira, insira o gancho de fi xação da mangueira na abertura (1) e empurre o conector para baixo (você ouvirá um clique’) (2) (fi g. 2) .

2 Para desconectar a mangueira, pressione os botões de liberação (1) e puxe o conector da mangueira para fora da abertura de encaixe da mangueira (2). (fi g. 3)

Tubo telescópico

1 Para conectar o tubo à alça da mangueira, pressione o botão retrátil de travamento na alça e insira-a no tubo. Encaixe o botão retrátil de travamento na abertura do tubo (você ouvirá um clique) (fi g. 4) .

2 Para desconectar o tubo da alça, pressione o botão retrátil de travamento e puxe a alça para fora do tubo.

Use o mesmo procedimento para conectar e desconectar os bocais.

3 Ajuste a altura do tubo da maneira que achar mais confortável durante a aspiração. Empurre o controle deslizante para baixo (1) com uma das mãos e puxe a parte superior do tubo para cima ou empurre-o para baixo (2) com a outra mão (fi g. 5) .

Bocal triativo (somente em alguns modelos)

O bocal triativo é um bocal multiuso para tapetes e pisos rígidos.

As escovas laterais capturam mais pó e sujeira nas laterais do bocal e permitem uma melhor limpeza rente à mobília e a outros obstáculos (fi g. 6) .

A abertura na parte frontal do bocal permite aspirar partículas maiores (fi g. 7) .

1 Ajuste para piso rígido: empurre o pedal de acionamento da minivassoura na parte superior do bocal com um dos pés para fazer com que ela saia do alojamento. Ao mesmo tempo, a roda é suspensa para evitar arranhões no piso e aumentar a mobilidade (fi g. 8) .

2 Ajuste para tapete: empurre novamente o pedal de acionamento da minivassoura para que ela retorne ao interior do alojamento. A roda descerá automaticamente (fi g. 9) .

Bocal de combinação (somente em alguns modelos)

Você pode usar o bocal de combinação em tapetes (com a minivassoura retraída) ou em pisos rígidos (com a minivassoura exposta).

1 Para limpar pisos rígidos, empurre o pedal de acionamento da minivassoura na parte superior do bocal de combinação com um dos pés. A minivassoura sairá do alojamento do bocal. 2 Para limpar tapetes, empurre outra vez o pedal de acionamento da minivassoura para que ela

entre novamente no alojamento.

Bocal fi no, bocal pequeno (somente em alguns modelos) e escova pequena

Você pode conectar o bocal fi no (1), o bocal pequeno (2) ou a escova pequena (3) diretamente à alça ou ao tubo (fi g. 10) .

Suporte para acessórios (somente em alguns modelos)

O suporte para acessórios pode ser facilmente encaixado da alça (fi g. 11) .

Você pode guardar acessórios encaixando-os no suporte. Para desencaixar os acessórios, puxe-os para fora do suporte.

É possível guardar dois acessórios por vez no suporte: Bocal fi no e bocal pequeno (fi g. 12)

Observe o modo como o bocal pequeno deve ser colocado no suporte para acessórios. Bocal fi no e escova pequena (fi g. 13) .

Clipe para acessórios (somente em alguns modelos)

O clipe para acessórios pode ser facilmente encaixado no tubo.

É possível prender o bocal fi no e o bocal pequeno (somente em alguns modelos) no clipe (fi g. 14) .

Utilização do aparelho

1 Retire o fi o do aparelho e conecte o plugue a uma tomada elétrica. 2 Pressione o botão liga/desliga para ligar o aparelho (fi g. 15) .

Durante a aspiração, você pode ajustar o poder de sucção usando o botão de controle do poder de sucção (fi g. 16) .

Use o poder de sucção máximo para aspirar tapetes e pisos rígidos muito sujos. Use o poder de sucção mínimo para aspirar cortinas, tapetes sob mesas, etc.

Se desejar interromper momentaneamente a aspiração, insira a saliência do bocal no encaixe de descanso para colocar o tubo em uma posição cômoda (fi g. 17) .

Limpeza e manutenção

Não lave as peças do aparelho na lava-louças.

Sempre desligue o aparelho e desconecte o plugue da tomada da parede antes de retirar e limpar as peças.

Como esvaziar o recipiente de armazenamento de pó

Esvazie o recipiente de armazenamento de pó assim que o nível de poeira atingir o disco de proteção do cilindro do fi ltro (fi g. 18) .

1 Desconecte a mangueira do aparelho.

2 Empurre a base do recipiente de armazenamento de pó para baixo para soltá-lo (fi g. 19) . 3 Segure a alça do recipiente de armazenamento de pó e retire-o do aparelho (fi g. 20) . 4 Segure o recipiente de armazenamento de pó sobre uma lixeira e levante a proteção do

cilindro do fi ltro, retirando-a. (fi g. 21)

5 Despeje o conteúdo do recipiente de armazenamento de pó na lixeira (fi g. 22) .

Você pode limpar o recipiente de armazenamento de pó com água fria da torneira e um pouco de detergente.

6 Recoloque a proteção do cilindro do fi ltro no recipiente de armazenamento de pó e insira o recipiente no aparelho.

Certifi que-se de ter inserido o cilindro do fi ltro na proteção. Caso contrário, não será possível fechar a base do recipiente de armazenamento de pó.

Limpeza e manutenção dos fi ltros Cilindro do fi ltro

Limpe semanalmente o cilindro do fi ltro.

1 Remova o recipiente de armazenamento de pó do aparelho, destrave o cilindro do fi ltro (1) e retire-o da proteção (2) (fi g. 23) .

2 Limpe o cilindro do fi ltro com a escova fornecida. Escove-o de cima para baixo na direção das abas (fi g. 24) .

Use somente a escova fornecida! Outras escovas podem danifi car o cilindro do fi ltro. 3 Retire a proteção do cilindro do fi ltro do recipiente de poeira.

4 Se houver sujeira no interior da proteção do cilindro do fi ltro, despeje-a em uma lixeira. 5 Se necessário, limpe a proteção do cilindro do fi ltro com água fria da torneira e um pouco de

detergente (fi g. 25) .

6 Se desejar lavar o cilindro do fi ltro, use somente água.

Não use sabão ou detergente para limpar o cilindro do fi ltro. Espere até que ele seque completamente antes de reinseri-lo na proteção.

7 Destrave o cilindro do fi ltro e recoloque-o na proteção.

8 Recoloque a proteção do cilindro do fi ltro no recipiente de armazenamento de pó e insira-o no aparelho.

1 Retire o fi ltro de proteção do motor do aparelho (fi g. 26) . 2 Despeje a poeira do fi ltro em uma lixeira.

Se o fi ltro de proteção do motor estiver muito sujo, você também pode lavá-lo com água fria da torneira.

Não use detergente ou outro produto de limpeza para limpar o fi ltro de proteção do motor! 3 Pressione fi rmemente o fi ltro de proteção do motor contra o compartimento do fi ltro para

Filtro Super Clean (somente em alguns modelos)

O fi ltro Super Clean, localizado na parte de trás do aparelho, possui fi lamentos carregados eletrostaticamente. Esses fi lamentos fi ltram grande parte das partículas menores na saída de ar. Substitua o fi ltro Super Clean a cada seis meses.

1 Abra a grade do fi ltro (fi g. 28) . 2 Remova o suporte do fi ltro (fi g. 29) .

3 Abra o suporte do fi ltro e remova o fi ltro antigo (fi g. 30) .

4 Coloque o novo fi ltro no suporte e feche-o (você ouvirá um clique) (fi g. 31) . 5 Recoloque o suporte do fi ltro no aparelho (fi g. 32) .

Filtro Super Clean HEPA (somente em alguns modelos)

No lugar do Super Clean, alguns modelos são equipados com o fi ltro especial Super Clean HEPA. Esse fi ltro é capaz de remover 99,5% de todas as partículas de até 0,0003 mm na saída de ar. Isso inclui, além da poeira doméstica habitual, microorganismos prejudiciais à saúde como ácaros e suas fezes, o que, como todos sabem, causam alergias respiratórias.

Substitua o fi ltro Super Clean HEPA a cada seis meses.

Você pode substituir esse fi ltro da mesma maneira que substitui o Super Clean.

Para guardar a aparelho

1 Desligue o aparelho e desconecte o plugue da tomada de energia. 2 Pressione o botão de recolhimento do fi o para recolher o fi o (fi g. 34) .

3 Insira a saliência do bocal no encaixe de descanso para encaixar o bocal no aparelho. Guarde o aparelho na posição horizontal, com todas as rodas tocando o chão (fi g. 17) .

4 Sempre deixe o bocal triativo no ajuste para tapete quando guardá-lo para evitar que a minivassoura seja dobrada (fi g. 9) .

Resolução de problemas

1 O poder de sucção não é sufi ciente.

Certifi que-se de que o botão de controle do poder de sucção está na posição máxima. Talvez o cilindro do fi ltro esteja sujo. Limpe-o.

Os outros fi ltros podem estar sujos. Limpe-os ou substitua-os.

O bocal, o tubo ou a mangueira pode estar obstruída. Para remover a obstrução, desconecte o item obstruído e reconecte-o (o mais distante possível) pelo lado inverso. Ligue o aspirador de pó para forçar a entrada de ar pelo item obstruído na direção oposta (fi g. 36) .

2 Não é possível fechar a base do recipiente de armazenamento de pó. Verifi que se você inseriu corretamente o cilindro do fi ltro na proteção.
