ABDUL MUIN: “Keanekaragaman Serangga Permukaan Tanah Pada
Tanaman Jambu Air (Syzygium samarangense) (Blume) Merr. & Perry) dan Jambu Biji (Psidium guajava L.) Di Lapangan” di bawah bimbingan MARHENI
dan HASANUDDIN.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis, kerapatan dan frekuensi kehadiran serta indeks keanekaragaman pada serangga di lahan pertanaman Jambu Air (Syzygium samarangense) dan Jambu Biji (Psidium guajava L.). Penelitian dilaksanakan di di Kelurahan Jati Utomo, Kecamatan Binjai Utara, Kota Binjai dan Desa Durin Jengak, kecamatan Pancur Batu, Kabupaten Deli Serdang dan Laboratorium Hama dan Penyakit Tumbuhan, Fakultas Pertanian, Sumatera Utara, Medan pada bulan Januari sampai April 2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan 3 teknik perangkap serangga (Sweep Net, Yellow Sticky Trap dan Handpicking), dan diulang sebanyak lima kali.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan serangga yang tertangkap pada lahan jambu biji terdapat dari 11 ordo dan 41 famili, nilai Kerapatan relatif tertinggi sebesar 11.43%, yang terendah sebesar 0.08% dan indeks keanekaragaman Shanon-Weiner (H’) 3.19 (sedang) sedangkan pada lahan jambu air terdapat 9 ordo 30 famili dengan nilai Kerapatan Relatif tertinggi sebesar 17.75%, yang terendah sebesar 0,12% dan nilai indeks keanekaragaman serangga sebesar 2,82 (sedang). This study aims to determine the type, density and frequency of attendance as well as the index of diversity of insects in cropping land Jambu Air Plants (Syzygium samarangense) and Guava. The research was conducted in the village district, Jati Otomo, Binjai Barat, Binjai city and Desa Durin Jengak, Pancur Batu sub-district, Deli Serdang and Plant Pests and Diseases Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, North Sumatra, Medan in January and May 2016. This study 43techniques using insect traps (Sweep Net, Yellow Sticky trap and Handpicking), and is repeated five times.
The results showed the insects were caught on land guava are of 11 orders and 41 families, value Relative density high of 11.43%, the lowest is 0.08% and the diversity index Shannon-Weiner (H ') 3.19 (moderate), while on land guava there are nine orders of 30 families with the highest value of Relative density amounting to 17.75%, the lowest of 0.12% and insect diversity index value by 2.82 (moderate).
