IMPROVING WATERMARK ROBUSTNESS
AGAINST GEOMETRIC TRANSFORMTION ATTACK

Abstract
This paper presents the challenges presented by geometric transformation attacks to \Vatermark synchronization. Geometric distortion attacks can prevent proper detection of the watermrk by destroying the synchronization between the watermark and the watermark detector. This paper proposes two approahes to deal with tllis problem. The irst approach remm·es strict spatial synchronization requirements of the watermark. while the second approach enables watermark re-synchronization ater a geometric attack.
