Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan bobot informasi dan valensi informasi pada kegiatan sosialisasi “GenRe Goes To School” dengan sikap Siswa SMA 36 Jakarta terhadap pembentukan generasi berencana.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan studi korelasional. Data penelitian diperoleh dari kuesioner, wawancara, studi pustaka dan penelusuran data online yang berkaitan dengan kegiatan sosialisasi “GenRe Goes To School” dari BKKBN. Populasi dari penelitian ini berjumlah 200 orang. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 65 responden.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa bobot informasi kegiatan sosialisasi “GenRe Goes To School”, yang meliputi keahlian, keterpercayaan, dan daya tarik komunikator, serta valensi pesan yang meliputi struktur pesan, gaya pesan dan daya tarik pesan berdampak pada sikap siswa SMA 36 terhadap pembentukan generasi berencana. Semakin tinggi nilai persepsi siswa terhadap kredibilitas komunikator, semakin besar pula kemungkinan terbentuknya sikap positif siswa SMAN 36 Jakarta.

The purpose of the research was to determine the correlation between information weight and information valence in socialization activity “GenRe Goes To
School” with 36 Senior High School student’s against planned generation forming.
This research used quantitative method with correlational study approach. The research’s data were obained from questioner, interviews, library research, and online data retrieval related to socialization activity “GenRe Goes To School” by BKKBN. Population of this research are 200 students. Sample of this research used 65 respondent Based on the research, the author conclude that information weight in socialization
activity “GenRe Goes To School” which are including communicator expertise,
trustworthiness and attractiveness and also information valence which are including message structure, message style, and message attractiveness affected to 36 Senior High
School student’s behavior against planned generation forming. The more higher
student’s perception value about communicator credibility, the more chances 36 Senior
High School student’s positive behavior formed.
