Introduction
I. Background
Students have a big role in the process of building this nation. Students have a role to make changes that are deemed necessary to achieve progress. The changes themselves can be in the political, economic, social and cultural fields and others in accordance with the needs of the nation.
In this regard, students are expected to have real abilities that can be applied in the business and public fields. Only by studying in college, it is not enough to equip students to have adequate abilities. There needs to be a real visit as an applicative experience.
Student Mobility Program is one form of practical learning which is a routine agenda conducted by the International Program Study Program for Islamic Economics and Finance (IPIEF) of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. The activity was attended by 4th semester students and several lecturers who accompanied. Conclusion
The Student Mobility Program (KKL) which has been scheduled by the university aims to provide experience, knowledge and culture in the countries visited, add new friends and establish friendships with institutions that have worked together before. The implementation of the Student Mobility Program that has been attended by students of KKL participants in Thailand is very helpful if there are students who want to take part in student exchanges or continue their studies to Thailand. Besides that KKL participants also get new friends and can share tourism, culture, language and taste food from Thailand.
The implementation of the KKL in Malaysia helped strengthen brotherhood with Muhammadiyah institutions in Malaysia and knew how far and active the development of the Muhammadiyah movement outside Indonesia, especially in Malaysia. In Malaysia also KKL participants know Malaysian history and culture, tourism in Malaysia, and also taste the food from Malaysia which is not much different from Indonesia.
The implementation of the KKL in Singapore entertains participants with the atmosphere, Singaporean activities, and tourism in Singapore. In Singapore also KKL participants are told in detail but briefly about the history of Singapore.
• Suggestion
Suggestion from the author for the next Student Mobility Program (KKL) is to plan KKL preparation in a thorough and in no hurry, determine the KKL location that is truly beneficial and not only waste money, can find the best travel agent but at a not too expensive, determine the KKL supervisor who is truly responsible and has mastered the place to be visited.
