ABSTRACT

This research is about jargon which is part of Sociolinguistics Study. This study is an attempt to investiagate the types of jargons used in the day-to-day practices and services of the church. In addition this also attempts to find out how the jargons are formed so that this will finally expected to benefit the church community in general.

Penelitian ini adalah tentang jargon yang merupakan bagian dari studi Sosiolinguistik. Penelitian ini merupakan upaya untuk meneliti jenis jargon yang digunakan dalam praktek sehari-hari dan layanan gereja. Selain itu, ini juga mencoba untuk mencari tahu bagaimana jargon terbentuk sehingga pada akhirnya ini akan diharapkan dapat bermanfaat bagi komunitas gereja pada umumnya.
