10.1 Alarm Handling Method

001 Light Curtain or Safety Signal

Alarm Please remove the obstruction on the light curtain.

002 Negative Limit Error Initialize the machine after resetting.

003 Positive Limit Error Initialize the machine after resetting.

004 Emengency Stop Please release the emergency stop and initialize the machine after resetting.

005 Overloaded, please check the velocity or abnormal collision

Please reconfirm the pressing parameters to prevent the pressing force from exceeding the limit.

006 Please release ON when switching mode

Please switch off the internal/external control knob after deactivation.

1. Check whether the pressing parameter [Standby Position] is set properly.

Appendix B. Closed Loop Position Control (Optical Linear Encoder)

Servo Press support A, B, Z pulse with 0.01~1 μm resolution Optical Linear Encoder. In the position mode, it will reach to the target position according to the value from Optical Linear Encoder which can avoid the error from the deformation due to press force.

After connection, please log in with the senior engineer access (password:2222) and enter the equipment parameter. Then, choose the [Other] to make the further adjustment.

Please turn on the Optical Linear Encoder. Then, use jog mode to move the spindle to the range of optical linear encoder. The higher velocity parameter can speed up the convergent and also likely cause the unstable situation. Suggested applied the default parameter in the beginning, and make the fine turning according to the requirement.

If the Optical Linear Encoder is not installed from the mechanical origin, the start position will based on the begin of ruler. These value can also be recorded in the servo press.

(3) After turning on the Optical Linear Encoder function. There will display both encoder value and optical value on the automation control and manual control screen. The upper value of position is from the encoder and the lower one is from the Optical Linear Encoder. When the punch enter to the range of Optical Linear Encoder, it will show the value. In the position mode, the servo press will reach to the target position based on the Optical Linear Encoder.

Appendix C. F Type for Stand Alone Operation

⚫ Please connect the button to the control box refer to the installation manual, then follow the below steps to setup this mode.

1. Please log in [Senior Engineer] access (PW:2222),touch [Equipment Parameter] and choose [Other]

Please choose [Yes] of the buttons.

2. Go back to main screen and touch the [IO Monitor] to check the status of the button

(G) Trigger Start

The two hand start buttons have to be touched simultaneously to conduct the pressing process. (<500ms).

After the pressing finished, these two signal have to be released before next pressing process.

(H) Light Curtain

If the light curtain hasn’t been turned on, the hand two start buttons have to be touched during the whole pressing process. If one of these buttons had been released, servo press will stop and go back to working origin after touching the reset button.

If the light curtain is on, the two hand start button can be released after the pressing process begin.

If the curtain light have been installed, please follow the above steps to turn on the light curtain function.

3. Please log in [Senior Engineer] access (PW:2222),touch [Equipment Parameter] and turn on the light curtain.

2. Start MES function

(1) After initialized, enter the engineer access. (Password:1111) Then, touch [Equipment Parameter].

(2) Turn on the MES function.

(3) Enter the automatic mode and touch [MES] to go to the MES interface.

Sheet Info Open the sheet information interface.

Inquire Inform MES and asked for the recipe number of the current work sheet.

Check In After inquiring, enter the MES process and asked for checking the recipe number.

Check Out Inform MES to conduct check out process and lock the amount counting for capturing from MES.

Back Go back to the automatic interface.

(2) MES Connect Check

MES Connection Delay Alarm:If there is no response after 3 seconds delay of inquiring, the servo press would show the below message.

⚫ Retry:Resend message and waiting again.

⚫ Ignore:Abandon this time and refresh the process.

⚫ Turn OFF MES: Turn OFF. Only for engineer access.

MES NOT allow pressing:The comparison is correct, but MES doesn’t allow the pressing process.

Recipe Incorrect:

⚫ Recipe changed: Go to the recipe chosen interface.

⚫ Abandon:Stop this connection process.

(3) MES operation introduction: There are two modes in MES function:

Work Sheet Mode:MES will check the recipe number after entering the process. Each pressing process will asked MES for capturing the pressing data.

Part Mode:Each pressing process will check the recipe number.

The detailed descriptions of above two modes:

1. Touch [MES] to go to MES interface

2. Switch to [Work Sheet Comparison].

3. Enter the [Sheet No.]

4. Touch [Inquire]

5. After inquiring, the [Recipe No.] and [Sheet Amount] should be filled in.

If the [Expected Recipe] and [Current Recipe] is different, the user have to change their current recipe.

6. Touch [Check In]

Check whether or not expected recipe and current recipe is identical. If they are different, the servo press will show the message and asked for user to change recipe or cancel process.

If chose [Recipe Switch], the servo press will enter the recipe chosen interface. Please select the expected recipe and touch [OK]. If touch [Cancel], the process will be abandoned.

If chose [Abandon], servo press will inform MES to cancel process.

7. Check [MES Status] turn to [04. Waiting Press], then touch [back] and go back to the automatic control interface.

If the MES doesn’t allow to press, the message will be showed below.

5. In the [Waiting Press] status, the user can enter the MES interface and select [Check Out] to finish this work sheet process. If the product amount reached to the [Expected Amount], the related message will be showed to remind user to conduct the [Check Out] procedure.

6. Check the related data and touch [Check Out]. The servo press will inform MES to capture the pressing data.

3. Touch [Back] and go back to the automatic interface.

8. Touch [Part No.] and enter the partial number. Then, the servo press will inform MES and compare the expected recipe.

9. When the [Waiting Pressing] showed indicate the pressing process is allowed.

If the current recipe and expect recipe is not identical after comparison, the below massage will be showed.

Choose [Recipe Switch] and go to the recipe chosen interface. Please select the same recipe as the expected recipe response from the MES. Then, touch [OK], asked for MES the permission of pressing. If select the [Cancel], the MES will abandon this process.

If select [Abandon], the servo press will inform MES to clean partial number and waiting for the new partial number filled by the user.

If the MES response not allow to conduct pressing process, the servo press will showed the message to remain the user.
