FINDING AND DISCUSSION
This chapter consists of two parts. They are presentations of the result that was found in field and discussion that explained and interprets the finding in the second section. Incloded the explanation of problem faced by students’ in using Mix Freeze Group Strategy to change the students’ reading comprehension as a result observation.
After presented the Student’s achievement of class VIII.9 in a table the writer analyzed the data by comparing the change that the Students’
make during this research.

Source: SMPN 25 Makassar Table above, shows the students score of Pre-test. Based on the result of the Pre-test that show on the Based on the table 1 the total of students’ was 30 and the total score of pre-test is 1.695.
In the columns of the students’ Pre-test there are various scores.
There were 3 students’ got 80 score, 1 student got 75 score, 3 students’
got 70 score, 3 got 65 score, 5 students got 60 score, 2 students got 55
score, 4 students got 45 score, 2 students got 40 score and 3 students got 35 score.
After concluding the data taken from the Pre-test score, table 1 indicates that the number of students was 30, the total score of Pre-test is 1.695 where the maximum score was 80 and the minimum score was 35.

Source: SMPN 25 Makassar Based on the table 2 above in the post-test, 7 students got 90 score, 3 students got 85 score, 9 students got 80 score, 4 students got 75 score 1 student got 70 score, 4 students got 65 score and 2 students got 60 score. Based on the table above we can see that the Post-test was

greater than Pre-Test. But based on the table 1 and 2, we can saw that there were 2 students had the same score from Pre-test and Post-test.
After concluding that data taken from Post-test score, table 2 indicates that the number of students was 30, the total score of Post-test is 2.355 where the maximum score was 90 and and the minimum score was 60.
The data shows that the improvement of students’ creative reading especially achievement was significantly enhance by mix freeze group. It show by the significance difference between the score of students Pre-test and Post-test.

Source: SMPN 25 Makassar Based on the table above, it indicates that the students’ improvement of the eighth grade students who the writer was success because the result of the mean score of the students’ pre-test 56,5 and post-test 78,5.
The mean score of the students’ post-test is higher than the mean score of pre-test.
So the result of the mean score indicated that students’ reading test developed by using multiple choice of the narrative text. The students’
reading test before giving treatment can also be seen in the following table:

There were 3 students (1%) got very good category, their were 4 students (13.33%) got good category, there were 8 students (26.67%) got fairly good, there were 6 students (20%) got fair category, there were 6 students (20%) got poor category and there were 3 students (10%) got very poor in Mix freeze group strategy.

In the post-test the table above shows there were 7 students (23.33%) got excellent category, there were 12 students (40%) got very good category, there were 5 students (16.67%) got good category, there were 6 students (20%) got fairly good category, and none of the students got fair, poor and very poor.
The writer concluded that strategy effective to enhance students’
reading for students at SMPN 25 Makassar. The writer concluded that the students rate percentage in post-test were higher than in pre-test. It proved after implementation of reading comprhension through mix freeze group strategy.

Source: SMPN 25 Makassar The result of t-table value in reading test indicated that the t-test value of creative reading through was greater, than table value (9,90>2,045) This finding used to determine hypothesis that accurate in this research as stated that null hypothesis (H0) is rejected when the value t-test was accepted. It means that, in this research automatically the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted.
From the analysis above, the writer concludes that there are a significant difference between mean score pre-test and post-test in the used of creative reading to enhance students reading comprehension skill, in other words mix freeze group strategy is effective to be used in creative reading.
