C. Implication

The research finding implies that reader response strategy is beneficial for the English teacher and students. Electronic dictionary and high reading interest are needed to improve students‘ vocabulary knowledge. It also allowed them to share the information that their experienced based on the story that has been read. It enabled them to be more active in the process of vocabulary knowledge. For English teacher, electronic dictionary can help her or him to teach vocabulary. The practical implication of this research is that it provides empirical data on how the implementation of electronic dictionary in vocabulary teaching and learning classroom improves students‘ vocabulary knowledge. This information is important given that the other comparable studies back then mostly studied on the use of online or digital media. Then, in doing the steps of this strategy, it made the students engaging of the text, translating the text or words, understanding the part of speech. In fact, the use of classroom media with paper, board and marker worked as well.
