In order to ensure the quality of educational services in providing human resources in the field of Agricultural Engineering, the Chairman of the Department of Agricultural Engineering is committed to carrying out the Quality Assurance System in earnest by the way:
1. Appointing the Secretary of the Department of Agricultural Engineering as a Management Representative (MR) in carrying out daily quality management. In order to assist MR, appointed a team of Quality Assurance Unit (QUA) in the Department of Agricultural Engineering.
2. Cultivating a quality system within the Department of Agricultural Engineering by socializing to lecturers, employees, laborans, students and related customers.
3. Coordinate regularly with MR and QUA team in the implementation of Quality Assurance System.
4. Preparing all resources in supporting the implementation of quality assurance system.
5. Conduct internal audits on the implementation of the quality assurance system in the Department of Agricultural Engineering and comply with the Internal Quality Audit (IQA) conducted by the University through the Quality Assurance Center (QAC).
6. Measure organizational performance in order to monitor compliance with established quality policies and objectives.
5.2 Customer Satisfaction
In addition to achieving the vision and mission, the Department of Agricultural Engineering will provide services to customers that include students, graduate users and parents of students.
To the main customer is the student. Student satisfaction is done by:
1. Every student gets an academic guidance lecturer (supervisor)
2. Every student is provided with non-academic guidance and counseling facilities as well as foster siblings coordinated by Agency Team Academic Counseling And Considerations (BKPA) under the Faculty of Agricultural Technology.
3. Every outstanding and underprivileged student will get a scholarship.
4. In the teaching and learning process, infrastructure facilities are prepared in accordance with the standards of the National Accreditation Board of Higher Education (BAN-PT).
5. At the end of each semester, student satisfaction form is circulated to the teaching and learning process under the coordination of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology and educational services in the Department of Agricultural Engineering.
To graduate customers, the satisfaction given is in the form of;
1. Providing students who are experts in agricultural engineering.
2. Providing students who have soft skills including communication, IT mastery in engineering, and English.
3. Establish cooperation in the field of research and community service, human resource development, and institutional development.
To customers, such as parents of students, the satisfaction given is:
1. Provide a guarantee of graduation on time at least 20%.
2. Provide educational and teaching facilities in accordance with the accreditation standards of National Accredition Board of Higher Education.
3. Provide additional soft skills to students as a provision of life in the community both communication, IT mastery and language.
5.3 Quality Policy
Department of Agricultural Engineering has a quality policy as follows:
Department of Agricultural Engineering carry out the teaching and learning process in order to provide human resources in the field of agricultural engineering that can meet the needs of stakeholders by ensuring the quality of graduates in accordance with the requirements, through the realization of quality assurance system continuously and
make quality improvement gradually.
In an effort to realize the above policy, stated in the document Quality Manual department of Agricultural Engineering code UN10/F10/12/HK.01.02.b.
5.4 Quality System Planning
Quality system planning starts from Vision and Mission document (UN10/F10/12/HK.00.a).
To achieve the vision and mission, the Strategic Plan (Renstra) document code:
UN10/F10/12/PR.01.02.d, Quality Manual code: UN10/F10/12/HK.01.02.b and or Quality Objective, Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) and other supporting documents.
Department Quality Standards are prepared based on the standards of the National Accreditation Board of Higher Education (BAN_PT), with the intention to facilitate the implementation of majors or study programs in facing accreditation.
The Department's Quality Goals follow the Quality Goals set by the Department of Agricultural Engineering:
1. Ensuring that the accreditation of all Study Programs in the Department of Agricultural Engineering obtains an A Grade
2. Ensuring that compliance with each Internal Quality Audit (AIM) is at least 80%.
3. Guarantees preparation for ISO9001:2008 certification has reached 80%.
4. Guarantee preparation to go to The World Class University has reached 30%.
5. Guarantee that 90% of the main customers (students) are satisfied with the educational services that have been provided.
6. Ensuring that compliance with services in each unit in the Department of Agricultural Engineering to The Audit of Excellent Services reaches a minimum of 700 points Quality goals in the Department of Agricultural Engineering are set measure and reviewed periodically. 5.5 Responsibility, Authority and Communication
Management Representatives
According to the organizational structure, the duties and functions of the Department of Agricultural Engineering (see sub-chapter 4.2), then the responsibilities and authorities of each person have been established in detail and clearly. In addition, in carrying out the quality assurance system at the department level has been appointed secretary of the Department as a Representative Management (MR) who has the responsibility and authority to represent the Head of Department in carrying out daily quality assurance activities assisted by the Quality Assurance Unit (QAU).
Internal Communication
Communication between the Head of Department, MR and QAU team are conducted periodically according to the needs. While communication with stakeholders is done through bulletin boards, invitation letters and websites, sometimes face-to-face meetings are conducted.
5.6. Management Review
Management Review is conducted after the completion of The Quality Internal Audit (AIM) by holding a meeting between the Head of Department, MR and the QAU team, in order to see, evaluate the results of AIM and improve if there are deficiencies and prevent and improve the quality if aim results are very good. In addition, it also evaluates the quality goals that have been set. Management review is conducted at least twice a year after the implementation of AIM from PJM.
The results of the management review will be presented to all lecturers and academic support staff during regular meetings of the department. Management review records are maintained in
the form of meeting minutes. As a result of the review of the quality management system, the Head of Department must carry out follow-up to improve the performance of QMS and its process.
The output of the QMS review should be recorded and communicated to all lecturers and employees in the Department of Agricultural Engineering.
