Setelah tahap representasi kontraksi selesai, dilakukan Cleaning kembali untuk membersihkan tweet dari beberapa hal yaitu karakter selain huruf alfabet seperti angka, simbol atau spesial karakter, tanda hubung dan juga menghilangkan ruang kosong.
