This research was conducted in four steps. They were: planning, action, observation and reflection as follows:

Figure 3.1 Procedure Steps

Cycle I

In this research, the researcher took four meetings to finish cycle I. the cycle consisted of four steps namely: planning, action, observation and reflection.

Every step was explained clearly as follows:

a. Planning

1) Understanding the Curriculum used in the 2014/2015 2) Designing lesson planning based on the Curriculum 3) Designing instruments which were used in this research

28

one student was as an interviewer and three or two were as the interviewee which was done in turn in the group.

4) The fourth meeting

Communicative Approach

4) Getting the students’ suggestion toward the Application of Communicative Approach

d. Reflection

3) Taking reflection toward the Application of Communicative Approach 4) Taking reflection toward the Students’ achievement result

After finishing the cycle I, the result of the learning process was not significant to what the researcher expect sothe cycleIIwas taken again for improvement of the cycle achievement.

Cycle II a. Planning

1) Evaluating the result of reflection, discussing and finding the improvement to be applied for the next learning process.

2) Noting the problem faced when the learning process went on 3) Designing the lesson planning of cycle II based on cycle I b. Action

1) The first meeting
