Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, maka pada penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk :

1. Melakukan uji katalitik pada temperatur reaksi yang lebih rendah (T<100oC), untuk menguji apakah pada kondisi tersebut fruktosa, sorbitol, dan manitol dapat terbentuk.

2. Melakukan uji analisis lanjut untuk produk gula pereduksi lainnya dengan menggunakan Kromatografi Cair Kinerja Tinggi (KCKT).
