Penelitian ini masih memiliki kekurangan sehingga masih memerlukan penyempurnaan untuk penelitian di masa yang akan datang. Oleh karena itu, beberapa saran yang mungkin dapat diberikan untuk Kaskus dan untuk penelitian selanjutnya yaitu sebagai berikut:
1. Kaskus selaku penyedia situs forum online perlu menyadari bahwa dalam Forum Jual Beli, nilai kepercayaan sangatlah penting. Pada rata-rata jawaban kuesioner yang telah peneliti olah menghasilkan indikator yang perlu ditingkatkan dalam hal kepercayaan yakni nilai kejujuran penjual

72 kepada konsumen. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, perlu diperhatikan kembali mengenai detail dari penjual, dengan cara mencantumkan identitas penjual yang jelas seperti nama, alamat, dan nomer telepon yang jelas.
Apabila calon penjual tidak mengisi data tersebut maka pihak moderator berhak menutup halaman jualan dan si penjual, dan di cantumkan namanya dalam daftar hitam (blacklist) di Forum Jual Beli.
2. Kaskus selaku penyedia situs forum online perlu menyadari bahwa dalam Forum Jual Beli, nilai kemudahan sangatlah penting. Pada rata-rata jawaban kuesioner yang telah peneliti olah menghasilkan indikator yang perlu ditingkatkan dalam hal kemudahan yakni kemudahan dalam berinteraksi dengan penjual kepada konsumen. Berdasarkan hal tersebut perlu diperhatikan kembali mengenai detail dari tampilan halaman penjual seperti gambar barang, nomer kontak, dan lokasi penjual. Hal tersebut guna memfasilitasi penjual dalam memberikan informasinya dan juga mempermudah pembeli untuk melihat informasi secara lebih detil mengenai penjual.
3. Untuk Penelitian selanjutnya, objek penelitian juga dapat diambil dari toko online lainnya seperti Lazada.co.id, olx.co.id, bukalapak.com. Hal tersebut disarankan guna mencari tahu lebih dalam mengenai kesan konsumen seperti kepercayaan, kemudahan dan harga yang berbeda.
Selain itu, keberagaman objek penelitian akan memperkaya ilmu disiplin marketing dan dapat memberikan sumbangan strategi baru bagi industri informasi dan teknologi yang sedang berkembang di Indonesia.
