Given the tremendous potential in Indonesia for broadband internet and cable television, and be able to set the business on a path of sustainable and profitable growth, the Company implemented the business strategies, as follows:
1. Increase the Strength of Brand Equity
For The Company, investment is not only in terms of technology, but also in terms of perception, these two investments must go hand in hand. The Company believes that with a strong brand equity, consumers will be more easily reached. The Company will always maintain and increase the best brand equity in order to achieve a strong brand loyalty value in the market perception.
2. Network Coverage Expansion
With so aggressive changes in behaviour towards digitalization, the Company is very focused on building a cable infrastructure network. The Company targets to add new cities every year in terms of network coverage.
3. Customer Oriented Marketing
The Company will implement various customer-oriented marketing programs that can build the value of the bond between the market and the Company.
a. Residential Segment
Enrich content and subscription offer packages that are in line with behavioural trends and market preferences. This includes the addition of cable TV channels with high definition, 4K quality, in house channels as well as creating an OTT package and new subscription package;
b. Corporate Segment
Intensive customer engagement through regular visits to customers to discuss strategic collaborations and hold loyalty events. Enlarging service resources such as enriching the capacity of ICT solution products and wider network coverage through the Pre-Wired Building.
4. Adopting New Technology
The Company always adopt new technologies to strengthen network infrastructure performance. The Company has migrated to use FTTH (Fiber-to-the-Home) technology in every network development in various regions.
5. Creating Customer Management Innovation
The company always improves service standards for customers, such as providing digital-based services that can be accessed through MyFirst Media Apps, web page Cek.firstmedia.com, self-service services with interactive voice response (“IVR”) systems, ChatBot, e-mail, web sites.
the Company’s website, Twitter and a Virtual Robot named FITA (First Media Support Assistant).

1. Meningkatkan Kekuatan Ekuitas Merek
Bagi Perseroan, investasi tidak hanya dari segi teknologi, tetapi juga dari segi persepsi, kedua investasi ini harus berjalan beriringan. Perseroan percaya bahwa dengan ekuitas merek yang kuat, konsumen akan lebih mudah dijangkau.
Perusahaan akan selalu menjaga dan meningkatkan nilai ekuitas merek yang terbaik untuk mencapai nilai loyalitas merek yang kuat di persepsi pasar.
2. Ekspansi Jangkauan Jaringan
Dengan begitu agresifnya perubahan perilaku menuju digitalisasi, Perseroan sangat fokus membangun jaringan infrastruktur kabel. Perseroan menargetkan untuk menambah kota baru setiap tahun dalam hal jangkauan jaringan.
3. Pemasaran Berorientasi Pelanggan
Perseroan akan menerapkan berbagai program pemasaran berorientasi pelanggan yang dapat membangun nilai keterikatan antara pasar dan Perseroan.
a. Segmen Residensial
Memperkaya kanal dan paket penawaran berlangganan yang sejalan dengan tren perilaku dan preferensi pasar. Ini termasuk penambahan saluran TV kabel dengan definisi tinggi, kualitas 4K, saluran in-house serta pembuatan paket OTT dan paket berlangganan baru.
b. Segmen Korporasi
Keterlibatan pelanggan yang intensif melalui kunjungan rutin ke pelanggan untuk membahas kolaborasi strategis dan mengadakan acara loyalitas.
Memperbesar sumber daya layanan seperti memperkaya kapasitas produk solusi TIK dan jangkauan jaringan yang lebih luas melalui Pre-Wired Building.
4. Mengadopsi Teknologi Baru
Perseroan selalu mengadopsi teknologi baru untuk memperkuat kinerja infrastruktur jaringan. Perseroan telah bermigrasi untuk menggunakan teknologi FTTH (Fiber-to- the-Home) dalam setiap pengembangan jaringan di berbagai wilayah.
5. Menciptakan Inovasi Manajemen Pelanggan
Perseroan senantiasa meningkatkan standar pelayanan kepada pelanggan, seperti menyediakan layanan berbasis digital yang dapat diakses melalui MyFirst Media Apps, web page cek.firstmedia.com,layanan self service dengan sistem interactive voice response (“IVR”), ChatBot, e-mail, situs web Perseroan, Twitter dan Robot Virtual bernama FITA (First Media Support Assistant).
Untuk menunjang usaha, Perseroan telah memiliki sejumlah izin dari instansi terkait, yaitu antara lain:
1. Izin Penyelenggaraan Jasa Akses Internet (Internet Service Provider/ISP)
• Perseroan mendapatkan Izin Prinsip dari Menteri Pariwisata, Pos dan Telekomunikasi Republik Indonesia untuk Penyelenggaraan Jasa Internet dengan No.
PT.102/5/6/MPPT-96. Perseroan memperoleh Izin Penyelenggaraan Jasa Telekomunikasi Bukan Dasar pada tanggal 15 April 1997 melalui Keputusan Menteri Pariwisata, Pos dan Telekomunikasi No.
KM.41/PT.102/MPPT-97. Jenis layanan yang dapat diberikan berdasarkan izin ini ialah Akses Dasar (File Transfer, Electronic Mail, Remote Login), Akses Retrieval Data (Gopher Service, World Wide Web, Jasa Database Service), dan Akses Interaktif (Internet Relay Chat, Protocol Talk, Protocol Internet Phone).
• Pada tanggal 27 Juli 2009, Perseroan memperoleh Izin Penyelenggaraan Jasa Akses Internet (Internet Service Provider) dari Direktur Jenderal Pos dan Telekomunikasi sebagaimana tercantum dalam Keputusan No. 176/
DIRJEN/2009.
• Pada bulan November 2014, Izin Penyelenggaraan Jasa Akses Internet Perseroan mengalami evaluasi menyeluruh lima tahunan dari Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika Republik Indonesia. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi tersebut, Direktur Jenderal Penyelenggaraan Pos dan Informatika menerbitkan Keputusan Direktur Jenderal Penyelenggaraan Pos dan Informatika No. 51 Tahun 2015 tentang Izin Penyelenggaraan Jasa Akses Internet (Internet Service Provider) tertanggal tanggal 27 Januari 2015. Izin Penyelenggaraan Jasa Akses Internet (Internet Service Provider/ISP) telah selesai dilakukan evaluasi 5 (lima) tahunan berdasarkan Berita Acara Verifikasi Operasional No. 1/BA/OPERASIONAL/
DJPPI.6.4/01.2020 tanggal 29 Januari 2020.
2. Izin Penyelenggaraan Jaringan Tetap Lokal Berbasis Packet Switched
• Pada tanggal 27 Juni 2011, Perseroan memperoleh Izin Penyelenggaraan Jaringan Tetap Lokal Berbasis Packet Switched dari Menteri Komunikasi dan Informatika Republik Indonesia berdasarkan Keputusan Menteri Komunikasi dan Informatika No. 246/KEP/M.KOMINFO/06/2011 tentang Izin Penyelenggaraan Jaringan Tetap Lokal Berbasis Packet Switched.
To support business activity, The Company has obtained several licenses from the related institutions, among others:
1. Internet Services Provider License (ISP)
• The Company obtained a Principle License from the Minister of Tourism, Post and Telecommunication of the Republic of Indonesia for the Establishment of Internet Services under a permit No. PT.102/5/6/
MPPT-96.The Company obtained the Internet Services Provider Non-Basic License on April 15, 1997 through a Decree of the Minister of Tourism, Post and Telecommunication No. KM.41/PT.102/
MPPT-97. The services included are Basic Access (File Transfer, Electronic Mail, Remote Login), Data Retrieval Access (Gopher Service, World Wide Web, Database Service), and Interactive Access (Internet Relay Chat, Protocol Talk, Protocol Internet Phone).
• On July 27, 2009, the Company obtained the Internet Services Provider License from a Director General of Post and Telecommunication as stated in a Decree No.
176/DIRJEN/2009.
• In November 2014, the Internet Service Provider License of the Company had five-annual evaluation by the Ministry of Communication and Informatics of the Republic of Indonesia. Based on the evaluation result, Director General of Post and Informatics issued a Decree of Director General of Post and Informatics No. 51 year 2015 on Internet Service Provider License dated January 27, 2015. Internet Service Provider License has been evaluated on the five-annual evaluation based on the Minutes of Operational Verfication No. 1/BA/OPERASIONAL/
DJPPI.6.4/01.2020 dated Januari 29, 2020.
2. Local Fixed Network Packet Switched Based Provider License
• On June 27, 2011, the Company obtained a Local Fixed Network Packet-Switched Based Provider License from the Minister of Communication and Informatics of the Republic of Indonesia No. 246/KEP/M.
KOMINFO/06/2011 on the Local Fixed Network Packet Switched Based Provider License.
