Abstract
Objective: Problem based learning is a method of learning with student centered approach.
Changing education system from teacher centered learning to student centered learning may cause different experinces for students and it creates different perception for students.
Method: This study applied a descriptive correlation using cross sectional approach with 175 respondents of nursing students. Data were collected using questionnaire of PBL that has been tested for validation and reliability. Results: Students involved reported that students have good perceptions of PBL in nursing basic science (83,4%) and communication in nursing (80%). The result showed that there is a significant relationship between students' perception of PBL and learning outcomes of nursing basic science with p value (0,02) < α (0,05) and communication in nursing with p value (0,009) < α (0.05). Conclusions: A statistically significant beneficial effect of PBL was found for students in terms of learning outcomes and new learning experiences.

Abstract
Massage in pancreatic point of foot may help blood circulation and increase foot sensitivity to prevent neuropathy complication. Objective: To measure foot sensitivity and blood glucose levels among diabetic patients as measures of improvement pre and post Apiyu massage. Method: Quasi experimental research was employed to measure foot sensitivity and blood glucose before and after APIYU massage for fifty-five (55) purposively sampled consented adult patients with diabetes from Rejosari and Langsat Health Centers in Pekanbaru Riau, Indonesia. The intervention was given about three times in a week for thirty (30) minutes. Result: Revealed that there were significant differences between measures before and after massage using the Apiyu tool on: (a) mean sensitivity levels for pre-tests and post- tests on the right foot (pre-test 9.49, post-test 9.64; p-value = 0.011) and the left foot (pre-test 9.55, post-test 9.80; p value= 0.004), and (b) blood glucose levels (pre- test 271.6, post-test 220.7; p-value = 0.001). Conclusion: The APIYU massage was proven effective for improving foot sensitivity and reducing blood glucose among diabetic patients.

Abstract
Objective: Asthma medications are commonly administration through the nasal/nasopharyngeal route, which is typified into aerosol and powder forms. How to deliver drugs to people with asthma most often through inhalation. This type of inhalation is divided into two types, namely inhaled aerosol type and powder type. This study aims to determine the correlates between the types and usage accuracy of inhalers among asthma’s patients. Method: This study utilized descriptive-correlational with cross-sectional design.
Purposive sampling was employed to generate 30 respondents. Questionnaires were developed and administered to the study subjects to evaluate the type of inhaler used. An observation sheet was also used to ascertain the accuracy of using inhalers. Data analysis included univariate analysis to analyze the frequency distribution and bivariate analysis to determine relationship between the 2 variables by using Chi-Square test. Results: indicate there is correlation between inhaler type with usage accuracy among indonesian asthma patients with p value (0,026) <ɑ (0,05). Conclusions: This research expects every public health center to perform evaluation on the type of inhalers used and accuracy of the use of inhalers on asthma patients.

Abstract
Background: Hypertension remains to be a challenge for most patients. It is one of the most deadly disease that lead to detrimentally effect of patients' quality of life (Qol). Meanwhile, family support was recognised as an important support system for the disease care and hypothesized to ameliorate Qol for hypertensive patients. Objectives : the study objective were to determine family support, assess HRQol and examine whether family support correlates to Qol amelioration among patients with hypertension. Method : Quantitative study with retrospective designs was used to carry out this research. Data collection for Qol and family support were to measure condition of the hypertensive patients for the last month.
Meanwhile, blood pressure values as a criterion to select research participants based on the current measurement during the study. Data was collected from 30 participants who selected by using convenience sampling technique from hypertensive patients in Teluk Kenidai Village, Kampar. Ethical consideration was obtained by approval of the research committee in University of Riau.
Result : Univariate analysis shown that majority of participants are female (24 or 80%), the most of them have suffered from mild hypertension (15 or 50%) and dominated by length of the disease 1-5 years (14 or 46.7%). Descriptively, majority of the participants have good level of Qol (17 or 56.7 %) and good of family support (19 or 63.3%). Furthermore, inferential statistic (chi-square) has shown that p value is 0.454> α (0.05) indicates that there is no correlation between family support and Qol. Conclusion : Can be conclude that Qol and family support among hypertensive patients in Teluk Kenidai Village were in good level but statistically, the level of Qol among them significantly was not correlated with their family support.

Abstract
Objective: Measures are needed to address adolescents’ smoking behavior. This study aimed to assess the effect of pictorial health warning labels on smoking intensity in adolescents. Method: The design of this research was quasi experiment with non- equivalent control group. The sampling technique used was proportionate stratified random sampling. This study involved 34 smoker students from a junior high school, which was chosen based on recommendation from Department of Education and Culture in Pekanbaru City. An approval letter from school principal was received prior to conducting research.
Samples were divided into 17 respondents of intervention group and 17 of control group.
Respondents of intervention group were shown pictorial health warning labels for 10 minutes everyday during 2-week intervention. Daily smoking intensity was measured before intervention and after 2-week intervention based on students’ report. Respondents of control group were given the same intervention after post-intervention data was collected. The data was analysed by using univariate and bivariate analysis with a computer software. Results: Before intervention was given, the mean number of cigarette smoke in experimental group was 4,65 cigarettes, and after intervention the number decreased to 3,47 cigarettes. The result showed significant decrease in smoking intensity with p value (0,000 < α (0,05)). Conclusion: Pictorial health warning labels had effect on smoking intensity in adolescents. It is suggested that school authority and school nurse to develop health promotion activities by using pictorial health warning labels and other printed media to lessen smoking behavior in adolescents.
