INFORMATION.

Admission.

Candidates for admiflsion into this Institution must prese,!!.t testimoni- als of good moral character, nnd be willing to comply, unreservedly, with the fol/owing

Regulations.

1st. Passing from room to room by student's during the regular hours of study, or after the ringing of the first bell each evening, can not)o permitted.

2d. No sludent will be excused to leave 1own, except to visIt home unless by the express wish of sLlch student's pllfcnt or guardian.

Sd. Punctuality in attending to all regular academic exercises, wil! be required.

4th. The use of tobacco, for chewinz or smolting cannot be allowed, either within or about the academic buildings.

5th. Playing at games of chance, or lIsing profane language can not be permitted.

Academic Terms.

The Acaclemic year for 1846-7 consists of three terms, Bs follows:

The First commencing Tuesday August 11th, 1846, and cnding Thurs- day November 19th, 1840,

The Second commencing Tuesday November 24th, 1846, and ending Thursday March 4th, 1347.

The Third commenCing Tuesday March 2Sd. 1847 and ending Thursday July 1st, 1847.

The Apparatus of this Institution is sufficiently ample to illustrate successfully the fundamental princip!es of the C:ifferent departments of Natura! SCIence.

A MANIKlN of the most approved structure, and a large amount of otber apparatus in illustration of Human PhysiOlogy and Anatomy, have been imported flom Parifi, the past year, expressly for this Institution.- ThIS enables the student in these hIghly important and interesting branches of science, to pursue his studies with advantag-es nearly equal to those nfforded by the clissection of an actual sltbject, having this further advantage of being divested of all those revolting CIrcumstances ever at~
