ABSTRACT
Dynamic personality of Eustace Scrubb as Depicted in C.S Lewis Works The chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader

The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader is one of the novels by C.S Lewis. It is chosen as the object of this research. The dynamic personality of Eustace Scrubb is the main theme in this research. The focus of this analysis is to show the dynamic of personalitiesof Eustace as depicted in the The Chronicles of Narnia; The Voyage of the Dawn Treader novel. The analysis show that Eustace Scrubb is one of the characters that experience changes his personality from annoyed person become helper.To support this analysis the writer used some theories and an approach. The theories are about the dynamic personality by Carl Gustav Jung and structuralism theory by Robert Stanton. This research applies structural approach. Furthermore, library research was applied to collect the data, and descriptive qualitative method was employed to elaborate the idea.
The result of this study indicates that Eustace's personality changes along the story. His personality changes because he had gone through bad experiences. His personality changes when he became a dragon in Narnia. Then, the dynamic personality happened in Eustace Scrubb. The dynamic personality is described in causality, teleology, progression, and regression.
