THE CORELATION BETWEEN STUDENT PARTICIPATION LEVEL AND LEARNING OUTCOMES IN ONLINE LEARNING

ABSTRACT
The learning system at the Medical faculty, University of Muhammadiyah Makassar experienced a transition after the Covid-19 pandemic to become full online learning. This research was conducted to determine the relationship between student participation in online learning and learning outcomes during one semester of the application of online learning. The research method used is an observational type with a cross sectional approach with a student population of 2018th and 2019th FK Unismuh Makassar. The research instrument used the Student Course Engagement Questionnaire with 147 respondents. The results of the study have a distribution of active students with satisfactory scores as many as 103 peoples (70.1%), active students with unsatisfactory scores as many as 16 peoples (10.9%), passive participation students with satisfactory scores as many as 19 peoples (12.9%) , students with passive participation with unsatisfactory scores were 9 peoples (6.1%). After doing the Chi-Square test, it was obtained a p-value of 0.018 (p <0.05). This shows that there is a significant relationship between student participation and learning outcomes obtained during one semester of online learning.

Sistem pembelajaran di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar mengalami peralihan setelah adanya pandemi Covid-19 menjadi full online learning. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan antara partisipasi belajar mahasiswa pada pembelajaran daring dengan hasil belajar selama satu semester penerapan pembelajaran daring. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional dengan populasi mahasiswa angkatan 2018 dan 2019 FK Unismuh Makassar. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan Student Course Engagement Questionnaire dengan jumlah responden 147 orang. Hasil penelitian memiliki distribusi mahasiswa aktif dengan nilai memuaskan sebanyak 103 orang (70,1%), mahasiswa aktif dengan nilai kurang memuaskan sebanyak 16 orang (10,9%), mahasiswa partisipasi pasif dengan nilai memuaskan sebanyak 19 orang (12,9%), mahasiswa partisipasi pasif dengan nilai kurang memuaskan sebanyak 9 orang (6,1%). Setelah dilakukan uji Chi- square diperoleh p-value sebesar 0,018 (p<0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara partisipasi belajar mahasiswa dengan hasil belajar yang diperoleh selama satu semester pembelajaran daring.
