Pasca likuidasi Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia (Bahasa Indonesia: Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia, LIPI), Badan Pengkajian dan Penerapan Teknologi (Bahasa Indonesia: Badan Pengkajian dan Penerapan Teknologi, BPPT), Badan Tenaga Nuklir Nasional Indonesia ( Indonesia) : Badan Usaha Nuklir Nasional, BATAN), dan Lembaga Penerbangan dan Antariksa Nasional (Bahasa Indonesia: Lembaga Penerbangan dan Antariksa Nasional, LAPAN) menjadi BRIN pada tanggal 1 September 2021, saat ini menjabat sebagai Kepala BRIN dalam bentuk konsolidasi pertama .

Prof. Alistair Moffat
He currently works as a Professor of Mechanical/Electronics at Macquarie University, Australia and is the Discipline Leader of the Mechatronic Engineering Program. His areas of interest include smart sensors and sensing technology, instrumentation techniques, wireless sensor and networks (WSN), Internet of Things (IoT), healthcare, mechatronics, robotics, environmental monitoring, etc. He published more than 400 articles in various international journals and conference proceedings, wrote ten books and fifty-two book chapters, and edited eighteen conference proceedings.
He has also edited thirty-five books at Springer-Verlag and thirty-two special issues of journals. He has organized more than 20 international conferences as general chair/co-chair or technical program chair. He is also an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurements and IEEE Transactions on Review of Biomedical Engineering.
Now he is a professor at the Graduate School of Advanced Science and Engineering, Hiroshima University. He has proposed the "Open Information Structure" approach as an original framework for designing technology-enhanced learning based on knowledge technology. Distinguished Researcher Award from the Asia-Pacific Society for Computers in Education, and Field Innovation Award Gold Prize from the Japanese Society for Artificial Intelligence.
He was also the president of the Asia-Pacific Association for Computing in Education from 2012 to 2013. In 1995, he was a visiting researcher at the University of Colorado Boulder, and in 2018 he was a visiting professor at the Indonesian University of Education. He is now an assistant professor at Malang State University's Faculty of Education and a visiting professor at Universitas Indonesia's Faculty of Computer Science.

He graduated from the Indonesian Military Academy in 1989 and then continued his studies in social and political sciences at the Indonesian Open University. He then pursued his Masters degree in International Relations from the University of East Anglia, Norwich-UK in 1997. He then continued his military schooling at the Command and Staff College and the National War College.
She has been involved with PSSN since 2007, when it was a national Crypto Institute (Sekolah Tinggi Sandi Negara or STSN), which will be transformed into PSSN at the end of 2019. She received her first degree in cryptography from Akademi Sandi Negara in 1991, and then received her bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Indonesia in 1998. She received her master's degree in information systems management from the University of Gunadharma in 2006, and in 2015 she received her PhD in Computer Science from the University of Indonesia.
He has a few publications in the above fields, but mostly on cryptanalysis in international conferences indexed by IEEE and in some journals. Apart from PSSN, she had teaching experience in some other universities such as Bakrie University, Veteran University Jakarta and National Intelligence Institute (STIN). He also has some webinar lectures related to cryptography and its applications, cyber security and related topics.
Mohammad Ghifary is currently the Vice President of Digital Banking at Bank Rakyat Indonesia, one of the largest and oldest banks in Indonesia, specializing in small and microfinance businesses. He was the head of AI research at Bukalapak, one of the largest e-commerce companies in Southeast Asia and the fourth unicorn startup in Indonesia, serving as a marketplace for individuals and small business owners. Some of the application areas we support include recommender systems, AI-powered search engines, cyber security, investment and financial solutions.
Before joining Bukalapak, he was a researcher at Weta Digital, the world's leading visual effects company for films. He has been involved in the development of AI tools for several film productions such as War for The Planet of The Apes, Avengers: Infinity War, Deadpool 2, Alita: Battle Angel, etc. My undergraduate and master studies were spent at Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (STEI), Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Indonesia from 2005 to 2010.
