Music: Gaylord

Friday 2/1 in the Knight Club at 10pm

Don't miss this Rochester trio and its progressive punk-funk fusion. The group's listed influences range from Mozart to Primus, Stevie Wonder to Sepultura - all of whom can be heard in this indescribable marriage of punk, metal, jazz, funk, and surf rock.

The Aquarian calls them "what Mr. Bungle might have been if they'd had a little soul."

Opening for Gaylord will be Alfred's own The Classy Individuals who play a fusion of blues, funk, and rock.

ITS Notification Barracuda Filter

ITS has successfully moved its junk mail filtering to a new application called Barracuda. Part of Barracuda's process is to quarantine e-mails that are tagged as junk mail. Once an e-mail has been quarantined, Barracuda may then send you an e-mail stating that you have an e-mail in quarantine. If you see these notices from Barracuda they are legitimate ITS e-mails and you can open them and follow the instructions.

If you have not received these messages you can also see your quarantined email by going to http://quarantine.alfred.... and typing in your entire e-mail address (username @alfred.edu) and your e-mail password.

(8)

If you want to change your quarantine settings, log into http://quarantine.alfred.... and go to Preferences>Quarantine Settings>Quarantine Notification and choose your preference for the Notification Interval. Then click on the Save Changes tab.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the ITS Helpdesk at x2222.

Web Time Entry Instructions

As you are probably aware, over the Fall semester, we have been systematically setting up all

undergrad students to submit their timesheets via BannerWeb. The ultimate goal is to have NO MORE PAPER TIMESHEETS; all completion and approvals will be done electronically.

At this point, almost all the supervisors have been trained with only a very few yet to do. If you are not doing Web time entry yet, your supervisor may be one that still needs training. Please make sure you talk to your supervisor to get an idea when you should start using this process.

Students were trained by using the presentation and "cheat sheet" below; please review so you will be ready to do your timesheet on-line when the time comes. Feel free to contact [email protected] with any questions you have on this new and exciting process!
