The stairs behind McLane, known as the Green Monster, will be closed for 2 weeks starting Monday, July 21t.

Non-Exempt Employees - Approved timesheets are to be forwarded to the Payroll Department no later than noon on the Tuesday following the end of the pay period.

Exempt Employees - Approved attendance reports are to be forwarded to Human Resources Services no later than 5 days after the end of the month.

Tuesday Night Carillon Recitals

The Wingate Memorial Carillon Recital Series will continue on Tuesday, July 22, with its fourth

performer, Ms. Lisa Lonie. Lonie is the Carillonneur at St. Thomas' Church, Whitemarsh, PA, and at the historic carillon at The Church of the Holy Trinity, Philadelphia. Known for her musical wit and creative programming, Ms. Lonie is a frequent recitalist throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe. She has performed in internationally acclaimed carillon festivals, at several national GCNA congresses, at the 2002 National Convention of the American Guild of Organists and at the World Carillon Congress in Aschaffenburg, Germany.

She is a featured recitalist on the NBC television special "Ringing in the Holidays at Longwood

Gardens." In 2004, she recorded Longwood Garden's first CD of carillon music, The Bells of Christmas, now in its second pressing.

Lonie's varied program will include works by Chopin, selections from the movie "Mary Poppins",

"Moonlight Serenade", and "Tea for Two."

All are invited to this free recital which runs from 7 to 8 p.m.

Songwriters' Workshop

A workshop for all ages led by Peter O'Connor. Tuesday, July 22, 7-8:30 p.m. at the Alfred Box of Books Library.Bring your own instrument if you choose, but creativity and a love for music are all you need.

Learn about all aspects of songwriting, from instrumentation to lyrics to musicality. No musical experience required.

Get Creative at Art Camp

Art Camp gives kids the opportunity to have fun exploring the creative side of their personalities. A wide range of artistic activities are available to kids of all skill levels. Join us at the Wellsville Creative Arts Center: Multiple sessions run Friday, July 4 through Friday, Aug. 15.

Sessions run Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. - noon and 1-4 p.m. Prices are $54 (members) $60 (non-members). All supplies and materials are included in cost! Ages are for 7 -16 years old.
