Reminder - Summer Hours End Friday, Aug. 8, 2014
All good things must come to an end and Alfred University's Summer Work Schedule is no exception.
Starting Monday, Aug. 11 the University will revert back to its academic year operating hours.
For many this means 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. but others have different schedules so please check with your supervisor for the operating hours of your particular department.

Your Student Bill is Now Due
This is a reminder that all balances on Student Accounts for the Fall 2014 Term are now past due. On Aug. 6 we will apply holds on unpaid balances, preventing registration changes (or release of
transcripts) for students that have not taken care of their student account balance. If you have contacted us and we are working with you, a hold will be placed only if an additional balance still needs to be paid.
If you have not received a bill through CASHNet, or need an updated bill due to recent changes, send a separate email to [email protected]. We will publish weekly bills for the next several weeks on an "as needed" basis, due upon receipt.
Please make your payment on our CASHNet system. Payments are made "real time" and show on a student's Banner account immediately.
Due to the high volume of activity, if you have questions or identify a problem on your account, please call the appropriate department or email the Student Accounts Office at [email protected]. We will look into it and respond to your question as soon as possible.
For further information, see the billing information sent to you and all authorized users with the last published bill.
Thank you, Student Accounts

Copier/Toner Scam
It has been brought to our attention that a potential scamming company has been calling AU departments. If a person calls and asks for your copier's serial number please transfer them immediately to Office & Procurement Services at ext. 2698.
The company will send you toner claiming that you ordered it and will bill you.
For more information on potential scams, see the link below.

Music On The Lawn: Howe Library, Wellsville - ZOAR Thursday, Aug. 7 at 7 p.m.
Front Lawn of the David A. Howe Public Library 155 N. Main St., Wellsville
585-593-3410
Long-time area favorite band, ZOAR, will grace the stage. Playing together (with variations in personnel - Roger Carlin for 16 years) for over 25 years, Rick Whitwood on guitar and vocals, Monty Case on drums and vocals, and Chris Dahill on bass and vocals have logged over 1,500 performances and are well-known in Western New York for their class rock, blues, and original music.
Real-life experiences have found their way into their wonderfully rootsy songs. Weaving the stories of our area in their music, they have played the circuit of festivals, bars, roadhouses, and everything in- between.
Music On The Lawn is funded by community businesses and organizations and is free and open to the general public. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy this family-friendly event. In case of inclement weather, the Nancy Howe Auditorium may be used.
The series continues:
Aug. 14 - Cort Dunham & Co.
Aug. 21 - The Fools Aug. 28 - The Badgemen
