This House would create a world government.” The subject matter varies from region to region. Four Corners Debate begins with a question or statement, such as: "The federal health care law is a constitutional exercise of the Commerce Clause." Students are then given time to personally consider their statement and view based on the law. It is very important to have a good perspective of the debate and to identify what the main arguments are.

Finally, it is one of the effective ways to train both linguistic and intellectual skills. Finally, the policies used specifically in debates can teach students to adopt multiple perspectives that are considered one of the most important problem-solving skills.

Conceptual Framework

First, debating technique can only be used for a specific topic, such as topic related to agreeing and disagreeing and arguing. Students should prepare their arguments before debate to make it easier for them to attack the opponent's opinion. Although it also has some weaknesses as mentioned above, its advantages are greater, especially in teaching speaking, because it provides more chances for students to practice their English orally.
