Submitted to the English Program of the Faculty of Tarbiyah of the National Islamic Institute of Parepare in partial fulfillment of the requirements. Analyzing Students' Concentration and Learning Reading at the First Year Students of MTs Ma'Arif Sarampu Polewali Mandar. This is the main factor that both the teacher and the students should consider in order to have a good reading performance.

This research conducted in MTs Ma'arif Sarampu Polewali Mandar. The participant was a first-year student, which consists of 27 students and 8 of them shown in the discussion chapter as representatives. This was possible due to the researcher's consideration of the students' different backgrounds, which gave different points of view to the reading. The result of the research showed that students have different concentration factors in learning to read.

Most students had the same ideas about the concentration factors that play an important role in their reading activities, but other students have the opposite idea. This is evident from the way in which students learn and from the background of the students themselves.

It is the result of the interaction between the perception of the graphic symbols that represent the language and the reader's language skills and knowledge of the word. Phonemic awareness refers to the understanding that language is made up of small units of sound, which is a key element of the process of learning to read. It depends on the successful acquisition of the other elements of phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency and vocabulary.

Based on the above explanation, the researcher concludes that the reader can use several types of reading to understand what the meaning of the text is. Some people read the text because their goals are to find the information of the text. In the activity of reading, readers have a main goal to obtain the information of the text.

Reading activities are not only about getting the point of the text, but also provide fun. Concentration of the mind: A learning situation that requires quiet, comfortable, a person's understanding of the content of the lesson at hand.

Conceptual Review

Pay active attention to any material presented by the teacher by noting what is needed, listening attentively, asking when something is not understood, etc. Always be active by asking questions and giving arguments about the material presented by the teacher. teacher is presented.

Conceptual Framework

In this case the conceptual framework that shows the method of data collection according to the four parts above. The researcher should know that it is the concentration of the student who analyzes in the process of learning English through reading skills in the first year of Mts Ma'Arif Sarampu Polewali Mandar according to the conceptual framework. The operational definition is set to define the variables operationally based on the characteristics of the research variables that allow researchers to carefully observe an object, as well as a limitation of the research33.

The researcher only focuses on the factors of students' concentration in learning, which still refers to concentration theory and integrated from the aspect of reading comprehension in Mts Ma'Arif Sarampu Polewali Mandar.

Data sources are all information obtained from the respondent as well as that from documents either in the form of statistics or in other forms for the. In the study, there are usually two types of data that are analyzed, namely primary data and secondary data. Primary data is data that has been obtained directly from the source, observed and recorded for the first time.43 This is data that has been obtained directly from the object of the research.

In this research, the primary data were obtained directly from the field either in the form of observations or from the results of interviews regarding the analysis of students' concentration in learning to read in the first years of MTs Ma'Arif Sarampu Polewali Mandar.

Thus, observation is a technique or method of collecting data by directly seeing or observing the situation so that the researcher gets a broad view of the problem under investigation. Based on the above statement, the researcher went to the field to observe the process of learning English and to find out the analyzing concentration of students in learning to read in the first year of MT's Ma'Arif Sarampu Polewali Mnadar. An interview is a form of verbal communication or a type of conversation that aims to obtain information.47 An interview is a form of verbal communication that aims to obtain information.

An interview is therefore a conversation aimed at a specific problem with a question-and-answer process between the researcher and the respondent, who exchange information with each other. Documenting is a data collection technique by obtaining information from various written sources or documents that exist with the respondent.48 So, this. Based on the above statement the researcher will collect about the condition of schools, educators and students at MTs Ma’Arif Sarampu Polewali Mandar.

Suggestion

Based on the conclusion, the researcher would like to give some suggestions related to this research for teachers, students and other researchers. The English teachers should investigate more about the factors that were involved in their students' learning. This will help to arrange the best position in learning, set the best environment and determine the teaching method to deliver to get the students' attention and understanding.

Teachers should pay more attention, guidance and motivation to students in learning English, not only in reading but also in other skills. Students should be more active and not be afraid of mistakes during the teaching and learning process. The factors that were explained before can become a source of information about the other student's concentration factor in reading and learn from it to get the best way of concentration.

This research was far from a complete paper, but it will help you understand the basic concentration factor that high school students have.
